I have a couple of questions regarding your spec (I'm assuming from your app that you are Protection main spec'd, as I see you are currently in pvp and holy gear on the armory)

1. Divinity : Why are you spec'd fully into divinity?

2. Spiritual Attunement: Why are you spec'd 2/2?

3.I see that you have chosen to go into the holy tree for Seals of the Pure, is there a reason you chose this instead of going deeper into ret for Vindication, Pursuit of Justice, and Crusade?

Glyph Choice:

Just one thing, why choose the Judgement glyph over..say, the Righteous Defense one or the 4 hit hammer? (I'm a fan of add tanking four hit hammer, main tank righteous defense glyph for taunt fights.)

Random Tankadin questions :

1. If I asked you to describe a tankadin's threat rotation, would you answer in numbers or words?

2.Why is Grid useful for a prot pally? (I like seeing it on your screen, I'm just curious what your gut reaction to that question is)

3. Is this your main, and if so why are you an herbalist with a weak heal and not say, a miner with an extra stam boost? (I'm not saying a gathering profession as a main is bad, but seeing as how you have a druid, I'm curious why you have a paladin flower picker when birds don't even lose flight form to pick)

4.What does "CC" mean? (if you say crowd control you obviously don't tank enough)

5.How do you present yourself to Pugs when you do your instant queue for the day in Heroics?

6. Mountain Dew or Coke?

7. Do you consider Paladins MainTanks, OffTanks or AddTanks?

As you might be able to tell, I love paladins, and paladin tanks especially, which is why I'm very protective of the niche I've carved in the guild for the few of us non healing bulwarks of the light. Good luck on your application, I look forward to your answers and possible polite discussion.

ok a couple of things, one you say you're into sports.... but you're canadian..... so this means to participate in Hockey and Curling exclusively right?

also, I may be wrong but I think you're resolution is not quite native.... you may want to take a look at your settings there.

Then, I know it's not your apping spec, but your Holy spec is the old cookie cutter holy/ret spec. speaking as a holy pally (and only a prot as my off off spec) I would like to know why you chose this over the now overly popular (but not a bad thing) divsac spec.

also why in your holy spec you went for 3/3 conc aura instead of maybe getting imp wisdom? or putting more points into ret (sanctity of battle for example)... would love to see your holy gear to see how you went with it gem/enchant wise

and finally I see you have recount showing (and in the middle of your UI no less so obviously important) but where is your omen? or other threat meter to make sure the dps isn't creeping up on you?

I do have omen but 90% of the time i dont have it on my screen or active, from my experience as a prot pally ive noticed a limitation to threat due to ability/global cool downs. The way i move through my rotation it causes almost all of my abilities to on Cool down 90% of the time and started finding that omen was more of a distraction to other imprtant things happening in the raid. If raids do require it i can have it on my screen but threat is the least of my worries at this point in the game.

As for my holy spec your right it is a cookie cutter spec that i sorta through together at the last minute. The last time i was Holy Main spec was when i first got this guy to 80 when i was with Serenity and the Holy ret spec the most benificial spec due to the huge mana regen you gained from it. I can definitely look into some other Holy specs to be more beneficial to the raid if need be.

As for your questions on why i didnt put more points into ret as well as why 3/3 Conc aura was picked over Imp wisdom, I tried to go with a balance for the healing bonus from Divinity and the crit gained from the ret tree to provide the most gain to my lacking gear if ever i had to heal in ICC. as for the 3/3 Conc aura I do know of a few bosses out there that do an aoe interupt even though we have DBM its better to have that extra 30% forgiveness if something does happen then not have it and watch a tank die.

But as i said before my holy spec was thrown together at the last minute and i didnt really put much thought into it and more spec'd for the raid that i was gonna heal for.

For gems and enchants on my holy set All Int Baby as much as i can, with spell power enchants where possible

If this doesn't make sense to you ill post something later i just got back to from teh pub and I'm a lil buzzed.

Nice answers, wasn't looking to guilt you into changing or to say you should even, was more looking for signs of knowledge of your class.

See while I may not be a prot pally or a ret pally main spec, I still have a good understanding of what's what in each trees and where to put my points should I respec.

keep active on this and try and be on for 25 mans and whatnot so we can get a chance to pull you in and try ya out.

I have run with Palipowa in a 10 man RS run .... Despite the failure of the run itself I felt Pali did great at keeping his assignments under control and listening to instructions

(Unfortunately I am not certain those doing the instructing knew the fights that well but appears would do great with a good raid leader)....
