I use quite a few of them, and have custom built my UI to serve my exact needs in a raid setting. The SS below is not in a raid setting however but the only real difference is Grid being in the top right of my screen.

Uld - Took an extended break right around the time this instance launched and came back shortly after TOC launched. Have cleared up to Mimiron in 10HM but after outgearing the instance.
TOC - Cleared (10H/25)
ICC - 8/12 (both 10/25, sort of the same story with Uld, had to take time off to stabilize business.)

Not really much to tell honestly. I own my own personal chef/catering service, I am currently in school for my secondary education degree and plan on teaching high school English, and am a fairly avid gamer in my off time (which is quite a lot of time).

Hey guys, just wanted to do the upright thing and bow out before you guys waste too much (raid)time on me. I thought I was finally able to commit to a regular raid schedule and that work had cooled down enough to allow me to do so, but at the current time (and due to certain "employees") I can't commit to being raid ready on all of the days you might need me. I feel absolutely awful for having to withdraw my app, but I figured it more fair to you guys to step back now than to continue on.

Ok, things wrong with your spec....

You're a Surivial hunter. you NEED hunting party/repleinishment. You can obtaint the points from dropping imp aspect of the hawk, and hawkeye. You only need at minimum 2/3. 3/3 is not mandatory. Pick up 3/3 trap mastery as well as 3/3 Resourcefulness.

Second, i'm assuming Cola is your raiding pet. That spec is wrong as well. Drop Boodthirsty to 1/2, and reallocate that point to Rabid. You already have the glyph of mend pet which can give your pet happiness, and a heal.

Thirdly, your gemming all Agi gems + 1 nightmare tear is fine to activate your meta gem. but you put the nightmare tear in the wrong socket where you could have gotten an extra 6 extra agi. You want that nighmare tear in your blue socket in your chest peice, not in your pants where that socket bonus is not activated.

With these 3 changes you gain a net of 279.3 dps, with no active raid buffs/debeffs. Swapping out your glyph of steady shot for glyph of kill shot nets you another 9 more dps. You missed the point that hunters can MD, trap loose adds, and master's call a tank on sindragosa when required to unsnare them. You also have to realize, in a 10 man it's more than likely that no one in the raid has replenishement. You not specing for it hurts the raid just a little bit. Same thing goes with not specing TSA, and your raid doesn't have a blood dk, or an enhance shaman. What would happen if in a 25 man, your only one other source of repleishment or 10%AP buff is floor inspecting? If you speced into it, then the raid would go on as normal. other than that, your raid might run mana low earlier than expected, or not make enrage timers just because they were 10% AP short.

Everstar still plays, she's on Foreverstar. Closer still plays, just not as often now.

All good points, and all changes I have no problem making. I'm used to running with an spriest/ret pally hence the not having replenishment. At this point, I've been pulling my info from Xumio's sticky on the official boards. Regarding the buffs, I didn't mean to say that the 10% ap etc etc etc wasn't important just saying that given the context of the question those weren't "hunter" specific contributions. But yea, thanks for the pointers, it's been while since I've had any contact with knowledgeable hunters to kind of bounce ideas back and forth with.

Ghli covered it all, mostly. You could stand to lose 1% hit from your gear, considering you are a Draenei, but if you can't ditch it economically, you won't be too poorly off.

Little known fact: the 1% Draenei hit buff doesn't transfer over the appropriate amount of expertise to the pet that a normal 1% from gear would but it's better than over gearing hit by 1% for the hunter.
