Tell us a little of your history in WoW.:

I've been playing WoW since WotLK and started raiding seriously in Cataclysm. With release of Dragon Soul, I stopped playing entirely and came back in MoP. I was 14/14H in Siege of Orgrimmar before the release of Mythic, and 14/14M after the release.

We ended Highmaul with 2/7M after a guild falling out, and am currently 8/10N for BRF after the first day.

How do you feel about the state of your class in the game?:

Druids are currently performing incredibly well on the meters when no mechanics are involved, although both DPS specs have their issues on certain boss fights due to their rotation restrictions and how much downtime affects them.

What led you to our guild and what would you like to accomplish with us?:

A friend referred me to this guild and I hope to simply down bosses - nothing less, and nothing more.

Which addons do you consider essential and why?:

DBM - Boss mods are the most important part of raiding. Even if you know every mechanic in the each boss fight, the timers are the most essential part of this addon.

Recount/Skada - The damage/healing meters, while not essential, are nice to have. The important parts of these addons (which Skada has a better display for) are what helps you view your death log, damage taken by source, and other miscellaneous things.

TellMeWhen/WeakAura - Helps you track your ability cooldowns, ICD of procs, and other things that may help you boost your DPS.

What do you like in particular about the UI you are currently using?:

I like the simplicity in it and the fact that I get a lot of information even for the amount of space I'm using.

Describe Your Playstyle:

I typically play Ranged DPS classes, but I do also enjoy some melee classes (such as Feral Druid, although my desire to play Feral Druid has gone down significantly with the WoD changes). Anything with mobility is my personal preference since I always feel horrible about having to cancel my cast early to make it to my destination in time

What specializations do you have experience with?:

I have experience with all Druid specializations.

What are your most and least favorite boss encounters?:

My favorite Highmaul boss is Bracakenspore, and least favorite is Imperator Margok.

My all-time favorite encounter is Siegecrafter Blackfuse (with Lich King being a close second). My first kill on Siegecrafter Blackfuse was memorable, and I was the Hunter that was "cheesing" the conveyor belt by soloing it by using Disengage.

My least favorite encounter of all time is Spoils of Pandaria. The concept of only killing adds is a horrible one. I liked the concept of splitting the raid into two, but there was little-to-no contact with the other group. Even the Heroic mechanic didn't require any communication between the two groups, so my group ended up splitting into two Ventrilo channels.

Not much to say aside from the fact that this is my first Alliance character that has even reached close to max level, so I'm looking forward to looking like a newb for a few weeks/months, as well as raiding here.

You're quite a bit under geared with us just getting into BRF. We're more than happy to give you a try-out with the raid, but you need to get that ilvl up a bit.

I'm to understand you leveled and geared quite quickly, so I presume it wont take you long to get "raid ready"

Turns out I won't be able to start raids on time for Monday & Wednesday (I have obligations until 10PM PST, 1AM server).

I was looking forward to raiding, and I understand that this may be a problem. I wouldn't mind joining as just a sub/bench raider in that case.
