Currently Galaga raid (Taco Tuesday's was floated around
badpenny — Sun, 09/28/2014 - 21:14but the raid decided to stick with our old name) has 1 mage who will be on intermittently for a few months due to RL needs. So you might be the only mage in our raid if you joined us. We will raid TH/SUN each week in WoD.

seth — Mon, 09/29/2014 - 14:08If I can get up to speed and back in the swings of real raiding and also work on my stat understandings. I'd love to raid for a few months and fill in when needed. I gotta make sure i'd work with my RL schedule but at this point it would. I need to talk to some educated people lol, WOW wise most of my friends quit so beside what I can read online i am lost. So that's another thing i hope to gain from downfall is just knowledge!!!

It looks like your schedule is a bit more casual, which is totally cool. You'd be welcome to my raid on Saturdays when they start back up in WoD. It's a more casual affair in which we do the difficulty just above LFR (currently called flex, will be called normal in WoD.)
Also depending on how good you can keep your gear up to date you could possibly be a fill in with Taco Tuesdays, who's second raid night is on Sundays.
Either way, more than happy to welcome you back. If you could please install Mumble (our vent replacement) and set it up. The mumble info is in the "guild info" tab in game once you join up. Please do this asap when you get back in, so if you do come to a raid or other event or something you aren't delaying the raid setting it up last minute.

Plans for WoD
seth — Sun, 09/28/2014 - 15:16Appreciate it thank you man, and yes thats pretty much exactly what im looking to do is casual raid and just try to get back in the swing of things. Im pretty useless at the moment but my goals are to be ready and able to raid by WoD. At this point I am like a deer in the headlights when it comes to rotations and stats. So i'm just hoping to learn how everything works again and how to gear/spec my chara etc.... and most of all Do something that is actually challenging. Ive been stuck healing for a few years now and am looking forward to being a dps. But i have a druid and am willing to heal if necessary.
