Tell us a little of your history in WoW.:

I've played since late 1.xx (although I was terrible and it took me a very long time to get past level 20), I quit shortly before BC came out, and returned to Karazhan with friends from work that had started playing. My account has been active all of the years since then, excluding a short 6 month break in MoP (but who didn't feel like taking a break then, haha). During my years playing, I've sampled raiding on a regular schedule, including heroics in WoTLK and the end of Cata, PvP throughout much of BC and WoTLK, always floating around 2000 rating, never got that far into it; and mostly I have become an altoholic, and an auction house junkie, these two have fit my family life better since marriage and kids :P

How do you feel about the state of your class in the game?:

The shaman class is one that I have never had as a main, and it is one that I'm looking to focus on in the upcoming expansion, I've always had fun with my shamans, and looking to learn more about them. Each expansion I've changed my main to 1-3 new classes to keep things fresh, my last was warlock, and my all time favorite is rogue.

What led you to our guild and what would you like to accomplish with us?:

I was using the guild browser, and your guild had more than a generic line of text for the info, and a large group of players, so I looked into you further :)

I am a casual player, because of life time constraints, I'm looking for a group of good and active people, and a community to become a part of! I hope to bring some of my past experience if it is of any benefit, and maybe even a laugh or two :P

Which addons do you consider essential and why?:

I use an addon pack that is created by a friend, who is an addon creator.

My favorite addons are Altoholic (needed for someone with over 24 toons) and TSM (also needed for anyone hooked on the AH)

What do you like in particular about the UI you are currently using?:

My UI is clean, simple, and has all the needed items for raid/casual/pvp, my friend skins the entire UI, and formats for screen size, he's a bit OCD and it's awesome.

PvE

Raid Experience:

I'm looking for a casual setting due to time constraints, but as I said above, I have spent quite a bit of time raiding from BC till now, my most devoted time was during WoTLK, I was in a heroic raiding guild from Ulduar to ICC. (and a 25 man group before that, when heroics didn't exist, Naxx 2.0)

Describe Your Playstyle:

As I said above, I love rogue the most out of all classes, I like the in-your-face style of combat. Stacking cooldowns, and watching for procs

What specializations do you have experience with?:

My experience has been by expansion:
Vanilla - Mage, Rogue
BC - Druid
Wrath - Mage, Pally, Rogue, Druid
Cata - Rogue, Priest
MoP - Rogue, Monk, Warlock

My experience is mainly in DPS, though I have dabbled with healing in Wrath/Cata

What are your most and least favorite boss encounters?:

Ulduar had some of my favorite fights of all, Vezax (as annoying as he was) and Yogg +0 were some of the best wipes I've had :P

Least favorite? I really have not had negative to say about encounters, other than Loooooong lead-ins for starting a boss fight (RP that can't be skipped)

Well based on your armory the Shaman must be a freshly chosen main, no gems, enchants, glyphs, etc. So you probably don't have too much experience on it, but don't worry, neither have I on mine's. Then we'll have to see how this app goes based on your shiny personality alone! Or maybe someone else can grill you on your knowledge of the other classes.

Oh, I see Ahead of the Curve on it too!

So how do you shammy? Faceroll? Spam every button available? Figure out what stats and buttons to push yet? Where is thy Fire Elemental button? What do you use to track CDs and procs and stuff?

Do you like donuts? What is your stance on bacon? Cake or Pie? What is 6x7?

Yes shaman is a new main, I have many toons on alliance and horde, and am looking to choose a new main for alliance (beginning of an expansion is generally when I've done this). Shaman has always interested me, but has never been my main, as I said.

Yes, I have ahead of the curve! My horde warlock was nice enough to give me that ;)

How I've been shamaning: I haven't raided, only quested and leveled so far, I've used priority rotation (prioritized spells). No I haven't figured all of the stats/buttons out yet! Still working on making it comfortable. Mine Fire Elemental button resideth on the F5 key, my F# row is where most of my cooldowns hide (was S1 in screenshot, that bar is hidden, moved it for easier use, yeah I have a weird keybind layout). This UI is custom, and my friend built much of the proc/timers, although the UI also uses OmniCC.

I love donuts, even if they're bad for me. Bacon is truly a gift from the heavens. I would say cake, that's just how I was raised. 42, unless that was supposed to be a + that fell over, in which case 13.

Well, there are about 5 main buttons to push as Shammy (not counting CDs), I do see 4 of them on the bar. Only one would be missing but it's the lowest priority that you'd only use if nothing else as a filler. Hmm, I see Earth Elemental on F5 in the screenshot, but maybe that's changed?

Donuts: Approved. Bacon: Approved. Cake/Pie: There is no wrong answer. 42: The "answer to all life, the universe, and everything" would have also been acceptable.

Welcome to the app process! I'll be working today to get my non-emo Shammy's around to take a look at your armory and whatnot.

Was great to chit chat with you last night while we ran Mythic. Was our guild's first foray into it since the patch and we did AMAZING 11/14M!

I like your friends UI, does he only personally maintain it? or is it on Curse, wowace, wowinterface, etc? If so What's it called?

Just so you're aware, I will be bringing back my weekly saturday casual raid. We will be doing Normal of whatever's current and trying to pick up the meta achievements along the way. It's 9pm-12am your time, and while it's not active now, it's a quite popular raid to attend and socialize in.

My friend personally maintains the UI by himself and privately I believe, he distributes it to each of us directly.

It was great talking with you, I've been on a few times looking to meet up with you, and figured I would get an email or something if my app was replied to (guess not!) so sorry to miss out on the communication here!

The casual raid sounds like fun, something I would certainly look into when it starts again!
