Tell us a little of your history in WoW.:

Started playing around 2005, did the 40man raids in vanilla, left WoW some time after BC came out and just came back a few months ago.

How do you feel about the state of your class in the game?:

Hah, paladins are nothing like the buff bots they once were! Heard they were even more OP a couple patches ago. Loving the class to death. Occasionally plays Shockadin in PvP. They could use a little something to make them more unique though seeing as they don't have much utility in RBGs.

What led you to our guild and what would you like to accomplish with us?:

Saw some recruiting posts on realm forums a while back. Also saw a bunch of you guys in game. First and foremost I'm looking for a mature and active community. At the moment I'm much more PvP focused but that's mainly because I've had no one to raid with. Looking forward to raid if you guys raid late enough. (I'm 25 and father of 2 young boys)

Which addons do you consider essential and why?:

Recount - Lets you keep track of how you do vs. others.
ElvUI for raid frames especially with GPS arrow for quick BoPs and other clutch saves.
Clique for when specced holy.
Weakauras for keeping track of what happens in-game rather than on the action bar.

What do you like in particular about the UI you are currently using?:

ElvUI is clean and slick. Minimalistic. Love it.

PvE

Raid Experience:

40 man MC and BWL. Also did some Zul'Gurub back in the day.

Describe Your Playstyle:

Very team-oriented I guess? I picked paladin to be my main for the supportive aspect as well. I often switch between Ret and Holy although I have a preference for Ret.

What specializations do you have experience with?:

Ret and Holy

PvP

PvP Experience:

I've done 2s and that's pretty much it. Hard to get in RBGs as Ret.

Is PvP your primary focus?:

Not really primary, I'll help with whatever. I'm looking to make friends really and be part of a cool community.

Are you interested in participating in guild rated battlegrounds?:

Yes

Nope, french is. If you ever hear me I might have a small accent although I'm perfectly fluent in English.

25. Married. Father of two. What else is there to say lol? I'm a busy man but I'm willing to take some time in late hours to have fun with other mature players. I work with my wife as a financial counselor coaching families how to get out of debt and build a solid future. Awesome really. (Also occasionally the ''daddy at home'')

It's always great to see another Pally around! a few questions to get the ball rolling.

What kind of raid style are you looking for?

What time (roughly) would fit your life the best?

Is that Hekili or ClcRet?

Why haven't you changed to the much more accurate (when compared to parses) Skada instead of Recount?

Also, French Canadian eh? Can you deal with the occasional Canada hockey/molson/Zamboni joke? Do other Canadians make fun of the French Canadians?

If I told you to spec Clemency for a fight, what major glyphs would you chose?

Again, tickled to have another pally in the app process, I'm sure with my post the other paladins, Canadians, and Canadian Paladins in guild will come out of the wood work to comment
