I absolutely fuckin love (and if it had a dick I would suck the shit out of it) TBC. When Boss kills actually were worth a damn. When Killing Vashj, Kael, Illidan, Archimonde, and anything in SWP meant "Yep we're the shit. Just look at my shit. See that Sword? Thats from SWP bitch"
PS. What was all the drama about G getting Untamed Blade back in the day? Oh and Darksight got both Vis`kag and Iblis. I wanted to be his Internet best friend. I miss you man ;(

I guess I raided fairly consistently from about February 2007-June 2007 during BC and August 2009-April 2010 during Wrath, but otherwise I've been more or less a fill-in and PvP guy during the expansion packs. With all of that said, Pokerface was fucking awesome. I got to raid with a lot of my favourite people from both of our Wrath 25-man raids. It had been the first time since early-BC that I'd raided with a lot of the Kitten Brigade folks.

I joined <the forsaken order> (a guild that included many of the founding members of <Downfall>) in early 2006 and was a part of founding the new guild later that year. I feel incredibly fortunate to have made so many great friends through this game and am glad that so many of us keep in touch even if we either don't play, don't play as much as we would like or don't play together on the same server anymore. I am currently leveling a tauren paladin on a different server with another old school guildie (bonus points if you can guess who it is) and we are having a blast, but I really hope that something in the future brings us all back together in this game. Maybe Mists of Padaria will actually be awesome after all. I sure hope so.

Being able to hit up an MC/BWL/AQ40/Naxx raid night and head to Rico's for beer and conversation afterwards was nothing short of the most enjoyable gaming experience I ever had in WoW.

most fun? that one is simple! For the first several months after I joined guild and joined Lava Crab, what a crew to roll with, and what a diverse set of personalities to come together.
however while not as fun persay as that the most epic feeling was easily 40 man raid days..... MC BWL AQ40, and even to some extent ZG and AQ20. those days everything felt so BIG so overwhelmingly huge that you felt you would get stomped on by the boss.

Karli — Sat, 12/31/2011 - 12:45I have to second this. I miss making Excel spreadsheets at work, planning my gear, running Rawr, spending too much time on EJ, and then being totally stoked to get home at night and raid each evening.
But most of all I just miss most of the old Hamfist crew and so many of the DF people (like a certain rogue...) from back in the day.
