Diablo keeps crashing my system

I cant get past the logo after launching the game. the screen goes black and the system hangs.
specs are c2d e6850 3ghz 4gb hd 4870 500w psu. Seems like lots of people are having the same issue. Anyone have the same problem?
Im a few weeks out until I can do a rebuild. This sucks.

just download and install, if you're still having problems try the 12.5 beta, theres a leaked copy of it on NGOHQ
but I'd recomend the official release before the beta

Shinzwei — Fri, 05/25/2012 - 21:02I think I found out what the problem was. My video card must be on it's last leg. I had to under clock it for the game to finally cooperate. Ah oh well building a gaming rig soon. Thanks for the help Elapsed.

Elapsed — Sat, 05/26/2012 - 12:27No problem at all, I've seen tons of problems lately and been working through it. Something about my I7 with my 560mobile nvidia card makes it so i have to force diablo 3 to only use half of the cores or its so terrible I can't play
