Zul'Aman Mount Run

This is not operating under the "Lava Crab" name, as it is not going to be fully staffed by "Lava Crab" members. This event node is NOT a guarantee at an invite for the mount run; rather, it is me setting up an event (as a test for one) to make sure that if some of the people I have approached cannot show up, that I will have adequate people that I can somewhat rely upon to fill the gaps.
If you are going to come, expect to bring a flask, mana oils, pots, etc. This isn't a la-dee-da stroll through the park. This is 45 minutes of straight insanity, ideally ending with the first Downfall bear mount.

So, I went ahead and
saedo — Sat, 03/15/2008 - 19:45So, I went ahead and respec'd to take Imp Expose Armor, -3050 armor when I get to use it for more utility. Took points out of a minor dps filler, Vile Poisons, which would've only given me up to 5 dps on a sustained fight.
While this Imp Expose Armor should allow maybe up to 300 more dps on fights I get to use it on and increased physical raid dps for whatever -3050 armor provides you.
Should be useful for BT/Hyjal trash too on whatever Pk's not tanking.

One thing I wanna note is that I looked through some parses posted on http://elitistjerks.com/f15/t20104-za_timed_run/
With the exception of maybe Dragonhawk, pretty much all bosses were killed 30-60 sec faster, with Dragonhawk either being about equal or we're faster by 30-60 sec. So just killing faster could give us 2-3 min more room to work with.
What also dawned on me was that we didn't have a warrior in the first run, which meant me or Shin should've been using expose armor for that extra raid dps. Pk was keeping sunder armor up even when not tanking in the 2nd run.

Might just double up on mages in that case. We'll see what the balance looks like.
