Garreth

Garreth is a very perceptive guild leader.
You're totally right, I do have a dissatisfaction with the guild and people in it. The main person on that list of dissatisfaction is myself. I pretty much feel sometimes (as you've all noticed in other blog entries) that I'm not maximizing my potential within raiding. I felt it quite keenly on the 1% council wipe. If I had switched targets to the mage and started chain dotting every council member while waiting to get my face smashed in after pk had died, I'm pretty sure I could've pushed the 1% to a kill instead of a very painful wipe.
Garreth has created an excellent site which I utilize in blogs, which for some of you may be shocking to see what I think. I usually just log or run heroics after raid, and I'm sure most of you thought I was the quiet kid in the corner who did his job, went home and didn't complain much. That's usually me, but suffering from insomnia (check the time on this post) has made me horribly irritable and snappy.
All of you that have raided with me for years, yeah, I'm the same guy. Don't think you're not my friend if I call you out for something, or rant about this or that, it's just me flexing my emo muscle in paragraph form.
Shihli:
You're probably the person I work best with in our little virtual world, but sometimes our views clash about certain things. It's cool, it's healthy, don't take offense or think that I'm hating on you for any reason, much love for my leiderhosen wearing raid leader. Also, don't take things so seriously, if we're both high strung, who's gonna bring us down if nuit's not online? yeah, exactly.
Epat:
Major douchebag with a "I can save the day if I just..." complex. Obsessed with his Paladin tank and a massive massive passive aggressive personality. Don't take my blogs too seriously. seriously. They're more here for me to entertain you, or get out ideas, or give pep talks, or chastise, but I'm just an officer in the guild. (Kind of the least effective officer as I don't really need/want to make any decisions)
Guild:
I hope you all realize ( I just realized this tonight when I got home from work at 4 am and talked with the aussies in vent) what an incredible, wonderful and totally unique experience we have in downfall. We have our own website where we can share ideas, write random shit, chat, put up images and share in a community beyond the green chat. We have a guild that is 1 boss away from "beating" the game and two full 25 man raids that usually have fun and are successful in what we endeavor to do. We also have a very very diverse community, which isn't all stereotypical teenage boys watching belfs and thinking nasty thoughts.
I'm done with the drama. It's for somebody else's mama. I want to see Illidan get his face bent on PK's shield. If you're with me, awesome. If not, GTFO of my raid (yeah, I know it's not my raid, it's the guild's raid and I'm a part of it, but it was more for dramatic effect) If we can't put on our big kid suits and play nicely, Somebody's going to RAdisband and then you'll all get to do w/e it is you do when there's no raid to go to.
-end transmission-

I look forward to Epat's
garreth — Wed, 03/12/2008 - 09:17I look forward to Epat's blog posts like I look forward to new Penny Arcade comics or new Zero Punctuation reviews.
Keep it up. Also, WTB [Warlocks Online On Tuesday Nights]
I personally think your
starstalker — Wed, 03/12/2008 - 07:28I personally think your blog entries are the best. It takes a lot to open up to a a bunch of people you've never met.
Stop logging immediatly after raids and come blow stuff up with us! Wiping over and over and over and over and over and over and having raids run later than usual takes it toll on everyone. Take it out on some poor naga or something. =)
