Hello Everyone!! Thought I'd drop in and leave a note for those of you who care.
I re-subbed WOW a couple days ago. Thought I'd pop in and look around. Lots has changed. LOTS. Losing skill trees is a sad thing. This takes a lot of the fun away for me. Not much theory to craft when every priest is 80% the same.
On the other hand. THIS IS REALLY DAMN SAD PEOPLE

In the last HOLY CRAP... 5 years since I played WOW... I've started and sold a business. Gotten married. Started another business a bit over a year ago and it's wildly successful - working 14 hour days 7 days a week. Hope to sell this one in a few years and move to somewhere 'not in Amerika'
I've got two step children who are playing WOW now. One is almost 18 but has the soul of a 40 year old man. He's just starting in WOW and will make a fantastic raider if he decides to do it. The other is 10 and I decided it was time to graduate him our of wizard101
I will be around for a while helping these two out. Maybe I will stick around for the new expansion. Who knows, with raid time of 9PM PST....... hmmmmm
Do we have a 'legacy' program for family members? My oldest is mature enough to be a member.
Anyone left? I may see you in game, give a shout out please!!!

As for raid, the Mythic I'm leading in WoD is just the first formed of them. The 25 man this expansion didn't form until we knew when release was, and some of the 10 mans just formed up on the fly. I'm sure a more reasonable timed raid or two will be around.
As for the forums, and class leaders stepping up? Eh, there are too many solid Theory sites for that sort of thing, most would rather hit up the mathematicians and the end-game raiders to really get advice. Makes me pine for the days when there were class leaders in a guild. I've yet to find a solid purpose for more than just a Hunter class leader (because... everyone plays hunters in MoP amirite?)
Anyhow, it's really great to have you back. It's the end of the xpac so activity is slowly dying off until WoD, but the community is still solid.

Elapsed — Wed, 06/11/2014 - 12:24I'm really proud of the community as it is. No it's not the theory/forum activity central it was. But very few are anymore. The server DIED in cata, and I mean DEAD. Downfall persisted even when we only had 1 10 man raid running. We are now jokingly the only ones who really raiding on Gorgonnash (and the alliance side of our cluster) this whole xpac. Some even joked "the realm should be renamed Downfall" The community bounced back and is the strongest I've ever seen it. Try not to think of the Downfall of the past too much, it will block the beauty and awesomeness of the Downfall of present/future. WoD will be a strong xpac for us, I hope to see 2-3 Mythics going by mid xpac and a whole team of new blood and new faces.
Seriously, welcome back, and as I've said to any of the old faces to return, I really hope you stick around

9pm pacific time is actually a good raid time for me - will keep me up till three in the morning but that is the only free time I have.
