I know some folks ended up having to set food and family aside for a bit longer than we anticipated. But the excitement and determination in the raid was awesome and the improvements from pull to pull were obvious. ESPECIALLY when we started kicking the shit out of Garrosh in his early phases and skipping some of his ability activations. We wanted that kill and we saw it through. Carry those heirloom weapons proudly into Draenor.

Kognus — Tue, 10/28/2014 - 11:18Congrats, everyone! What struck me most about last night (even when we were wiping) is how much more fun "hard mode" raiding is with a larger group. I loved doing the first couple of wings of Heroics with Animal Crackers because we had such a nice group of people, but something about that feeling of being in the fight with a considerable number of other people is really great. It reminded me a lot of Raid: Poker Face back in Wrath when we were doing everyone's Ulduar achievements on fights like One Light in the Darkness and Firefighter. Mythic raiding really feels like a terrific chance of direction for the game.
Also, those shouts of victory when we killed Gary were awesome! Thanks for having me along!
