Aidin — Wed, 03/26/2008 - 12:49We are still sitting with too many people under 800 dps. If some of this is due to gear, then we need to get these guys some gear. Straight to Vashj and Kael just doesn't seem like the way to hit our ultimate goal of MH/BT.
I honestly don't think we're ready for MH/BT and need to get a few things out of the way first.
1. All dps sitting at 800+ (we don't have the AoE that Hamfist has, so we'll be nuking one by one, which with too many ppl under 800 which is pretty normal for us, can take forever. You don' thave forever betweek waves in MH)
2. A solid core group who know the strats, and that show up. MH is a clusterfuck of craziness compared to TK.
3. Gear.
I also agree that LF1Ham efforts on Kael are a good idea, the gear on that fucker can go a long way for both raids.

Tonight we are going to
Atar — Wed, 03/26/2008 - 12:46Tonight we are going to Hyjal. LF1M has been straight grinding on TK and SSC for a while now, and I want to give a little break. We're going in and gonna have a little fun, and see new stuff. I know everyone is wondering about it. Let's go in a have a fun time in raid and then get back to TK/SSC on Thursday and Saturday.
We've got to have some fun right?! Know the strats and let's do it!!!

Grasen — Wed, 03/26/2008 - 12:21I agree with shihli. While we could go stright to the 2 end bosses, I think we should put this week more of a focus to gear up a lil more. Honestally if we cleared first 3 bosses in tk tonight and then cleared the bosses before vashj in ssc rest of the week we would be putting a shiton of gear in the raid which alot of our guys still really need (ie shinso) to be viable for hyjall anyhow. Downing kael and vashj this week without downing much else really doesnt git us closer to where we need to be gear wise for hyjal. Then if we have time left go kael and vashj. or even put together a lf1ham to go for them 2 again if we run outta time.
Just my 2 cents.
Corse if we do go for kal and vashj fast they are the only 2 bosses i need gear off of anyhow lol. so i';ll be cool with whatever yall decide.

Shihli — Wed, 03/26/2008 - 11:08I don't mean to be "the raincloud" but even though you can go right to Kael/Vashj now, doesn't mean you necessarily should.
If you try to B-line it straight to Vashj, it's not as much of a problem - you've only got Hydross and Lurker trash to deal with. That's not a *ton* of trash clearing, however I'd still recommend killing those two just to get their trash out of the way.
But with Kael, you have not only HIS trash, but Al'ar trash *and* Void Reaver/Solarian trash to clear. That's a whole lot of trash just for one boss - easily an hour's worth of trash.
