saedo — Mon, 03/31/2008 - 13:14Well it's a possibility. Your 15% crit rate on Sinister Strikes is half ours. For bad dice rolls, that's seems pretty extreme if it's just bad luck. Otherwise I dunno what happened there.
Another thing I noted that's not SS related is that SnD dropped off for you for longer periods of time. Cause from what I gather, you had less white damage hits with more dps time for some reason.

From the looks of things you did 4 kicks, same as me, though Pulga did 9 himself.
Melee Swings - You avg 628 dmg at 298 swings, Pulga at 558 dmg at 307 swings, I'm at 641 dmg with 357 swings. So between you 2, he got in a bit more melee swings despite 4% less dps time. So my first guess, SnD fell off for longer periods of time?
Sinister Strikes - You avg 1087 dmg with 54 SS, Pulga at 1055 dmg with 63 SS, I'm at 1089 dmg with 70 SS. Again a hitting more in a shorter period of time thing. But yea, for some reason you seemed to only have gotten a 15% crit on your SS while we got over 30%. That's kind of odd.

Barqz — Sun, 03/30/2008 - 16:05Yeah, once again, according to RB those dead kitty shoulders were better than my deathmantle even un enchanted. But i think we all are agreeing that RB was wrong/busted what have you. As for Kael Phase 4 i was doing 2s/4or5r cycles, and kick midications. Around 5 when i was floating i tried to stay away from the center where the clouds seemed to be focused, so my favorite healers could focus on Ever than worry about my ass, but i guess that really is all dependent on how the fight goes i guess.

RB only gives a stat

Anyways, for phase 4/5 you got in almost as much DPS time as me, 69% vs 68% (pulga was lower at 64%). It's just that in those phases you were about 140 dps behind Pulga, which is a bit of a wide gap when you 2 have very similar gear.

Also, Barqs, the dead druid shoulders weren't enchanted, while your other ones were. That might have made a difference.

Barqz — Sun, 03/30/2008 - 08:44Saedo I agree my dps time was low..actually lower than I would have liked..instead of beating myself up I am reminding myself that in phase 3 instead of dpsing the engineer with you guys i was running ever her sword, plus running from telonikis a few times..which sucked. Also you know those dead druid shoulers i was wearing, well according to rating buster they were superoir to my t5, but yet my dps went down with them on. Why? Well i did a gear swap and looked at my stats on my char sheet and noticed they were slightly worse than t5, so i think my rating buster was slightly f'd up..which made me a sad panda considering i wanted to rock the house...but maybe in hyjal or ssc i can.

Anyways, you might be right about the extra running in other phases. So let's look at phase 4 and 5 exclusively, Kael time.

Hmm looking at this, Barqs can improve much more in DPS, but maybe that's just a need more time playing with swords thing.

DPS was good. Spreadsheet wise, Barqs and Pulga are pretty much where I expected them. Just need to pick up DPS time on the fight to get damage done up to the top 5.
