I agree with Garreth. PC
Ardea — Tue, 04/01/2008 - 11:03I agree with Garreth.
PC Power and Cooling http://www.pcpower.com/index.html = awesome unbeatable power supplies.
I know you're on a budget,
garreth — Tue, 04/01/2008 - 10:47I know you're on a budget, but look up PC Power & Cooling power supplies. They are spendier, but GODDAMN those are some nice PSUs. I have a 550w model that's about 3 years old and has been running non-stop.
The Garreth Hierarchy of PC Shit You Should Spend Good Money On looks like this:
Everything after that is pretty consistent (you're not going to necessarily find a BETTER E6000 dual core proc because... they're all the same!). If WoW is a primary concern on this box, any good-priced high 7000 - low 8000 nvidia gpu will do the trick.
Like everyone has already stated, pack as much CPU and at least 2GB worth of RAM into this thing as you can. I recommend Corsair XMS series RAM (of the fastest type with the lowest timings your mobo can support). I've had the exact same 2 sticks of corsair RAM running in my machine for the last 3 years.
More power != better
starstalker — Tue, 04/01/2008 - 09:57More power != better power supply. Get a quality unit and be happy, but dont necessarily believe that more watts is better.

I've found that with power
Blizzhax — Tue, 04/01/2008 - 09:48I've found that with power supplies you want at least 2 12v rails.. and the amps on those should be 18+
Going on what frollo said,
Ewiges — Mon, 03/31/2008 - 17:52Going on what frollo said, I'm running the 680i and it is awesome. Cost me $159.99 back in november. And it can actually run 3 graphic cards, not just two.

in response to what ewig
Frollo — Wed, 04/02/2008 - 08:26in response to what ewig said here is a quote about the 680i boards
True 2 x16 PCI Express SLI Support provided by two full-bandwidth, 16-lane PCI Express links.
Third PCIe Slot for Graphics Expansion
so the third slot isn't a true 16 slot so it is more for an addin card or something to suppliment (physix card what a joke they made out like bandits) though you can still drive 6 displays w/ the board (if you have the vid cards for it)
best option for 3 vid cards would be the 780i i believe ;) as it has 3x16 slots (this assumes that the current vid cads max out those pipelines and beyond that it is way more then you would need in any concievable future :D
it looks like the third slot will be used by vid cards to do physix and offload load on the vid card upcoming in the future as nvidia is releasing code to allow the vidcards to do physix calculations so you could effectively have sli vid + another card for physix if you wanted though untill they release everything this is speculation :)

i don't know how much you plan on doing w/ this new comp other then wow but please note that wow is a cpu intensive application therefore the more cpu you get the better.
nice graphics card will do everything you want but for instance here are my system specs
mboard evga 680i (allows for quadcore procs if needed and dual video cards (sli) this is an nvidia chipset board where as the one you are looking at is intel
if you wanted something a bit more upto date you can go w/ a 650i mboard (assuming you wanted nvidia)
proc - E6600 (mine is about 2 years old) overclocked to 3.5ghz (stock 2.4)
this is the area i would not skimp on as it is one of the first things you notice
ram - 2gig ocz
video card (needs upgraded soonest :D ) xfx 7900gz
case - cool looking case should be enough room however the area of concern lies w/ the powersupply it comes with. Now a days things are taking a lot more power and in order to have a nice stable system you need to have an adequate power supply. most cheaper case / ps cobo's have lower quality powersupplys that are prone to failure. 450w of lower quality would concern me for instance i have a thermaltake 700w powersupply which is a bit overkill for the system i currently have however if i added another video card it would have enough power to handle that
the reason though that i got the ps i did is i had a stint of two crappy powersupplys one of which was 650 watt and still would restart my system and cause havoc so it was worth it to me to get a better one
anyway i hope this helps if you have any more questions feel free to ask, catch me in irc (chat link at the top of the page) or in game

The 945 chipset is very old.
starstalker — Sat, 03/29/2008 - 06:18The 945 chipset is very old. At least opt for the slightly-newer 965

And for some enthusiast motherboards, they can be priced upwards of $200. Its not that unusual.

Is it normal for your MoBo
Katibug — Fri, 03/28/2008 - 23:16Is it normal for your MoBo to cost more than your CPU?
Corsair > Kingston, IMO.
