Threat cycles and what to do!

on trash which you will spend a majority of your time you should have a TPS set it should push you high in expertise and hit rating. Theres nothing worse then watching a mob run away to eat your dps Intervene is one of the greatest spells blizzard ever gave warriors once you hit it Immediately taunt the mob and it will eat and atk on one of your clothies. Use Bloodrage often whenever you can opening with a Shield Slam is like telling him to focus on you until he is dead.
For Bosses the once you engage immediate get 5 sunders/devastates and Shield Slam when its off cooldown, For shouts open with Battleshout when it wears off switch to Commanding shout for survivabilty. There is a Golden cycle here Shield Slam, Revenge, Devastate, Devastate and Heroic strike whenever you can this is the 1000-2000 TPS roatation depending on your group buffs and debuffs on the boss. If you are ever short on rage dont heroic strike stick to the basics.
On new encounters or even farm content where your raid is struggling in Hamfist I'm not sure about LF1M we have our fury warrior use improved Demo shout and the MT warrior should always keep Thunderclap up go for the refresh at 8secs if it's resisted it's a 4 sec cooldown til your next chance the speed is very noticable.
and as always Shield block should NEVER EVER go down unless a duel wield boss is eating through them.

just for clarification if my
TK28 — Wed, 04/02/2008 - 11:34just for clarification if my response wasn't exact for some who don't know tanks. Devastate refreshes sunder and stacks it as well It would hurt TPS generate and dps amounts if you had to stop casting Devastate for that period of time.
Gares they buffed the living
TK28 — Wed, 04/02/2008 - 11:27Gares they buffed the living hell out of devastate it's really really good to use. I typically combined Heroic Strike+ Devastate when I go for devastate considering if rage allows it.
Hmm I don't seem to see it

It is good you are writing
Gares of War — Wed, 04/02/2008 - 10:56It is good you are writing these Pk. I agree for the most part. In fact, as a tank, I do that rotation. The only think I have pondered but never bothered to use was the notion that you generate more threat by letting sunders fall off and reapplying them. On a dps stand point, it is a significant lost . Have you heard something to that effect?
