So I'm trying out this whole blog thing, as I've never done it before and since I type a lot in raids, this seems like something useful to do when I'm bored and don't want to grind but haven't found the fortitude to make the trek to bed.

Epatrick is affliction again, and I forgot how awesome self sufficient the whole build is. I was able to live long enough through drains, deathcoil and siphon life to receive a heal after I couldn't outrun a doomfire or grip was on me while my decurser was feared or getting back in position. With the subversion of Jasmynn to the Holy side, I've found three more debuff slots available to dots and that on a whole, they stick longer before needing to be reapplied. This'll probably only work for Archimonde since the mages and every other dotter is struggling to get back in range while my dots tick on their merry way. For now I'm going to enjoy my delicious dark pact and instant corruption before burn downs and enrage timers force me back into my boring shadowbolt spam build.

If anybody is reading this blog, wow, you are really a huge troll and probably should go to bed as I'm one of the most uninteresting personalities in raid. If you have continued reading and are raiding in hamfist/lf1m I would like to say something. TREAT EACH OTHER BETTER. Not one of you is capable of performing every raid job simultaneously. We need each other. I just deleted an entire "don't do this or this or that" but we all have made snarky/snide/rude remarks in temper and regretted them later. Just like thumper's father said 'if you don't have anything nice to say, be like Epatrick and unplug your mic, put your head down and do your job'....well the first part was quoted correctly at least.

On other notes, Pudolski is becoming quite the little time consuming pet project. I'm pretty sure I'm on him more than Epatrick these days because of the epic mount and the demand for five man tanks in Guild for heroics. I also LOVE Mount Hyjal with a prot pally. The chaos of the waves feels more rhythmic and I've started to ease into the flow of tanking the smaller mobs while the big boy tanks take the aboms and necros.

Any other tanks reading this : if you see the smaller waves of ghouls, just let me tank them and dps one down, but for the love of all that is holy, leave the little ghouls and cryptfiends to Pudo and get those freakin' Aboms off me, they hit too hard and I can't block when I'm stunned so my health spikes when I have more than one of those green shits on me.

I'm also trying to see if perhaps I can /logout on pudo and get on epat quickly enough to beat azgalor into the zone so I can have a chance at t6 one of these nights, as my gloves while very good, have been the same since I started raiding in kara in february, that or maybe bop keisjaa over the head along with the other paladins and priests/warlocks so i can take the delicious helm of ugly ramhorns. Also WTB Hammer of Freakin' Judgement. My amani punisher is STILL unenchanted because I know the minute I put +40 spell dmg on it, it's going to drop and I'll be out a shit tonne more mats.

One thing I've noticed about the trash waves is that if I go with a supreme power flask, the mages and locks live longer...I think from now on for everything in MH I'm going to prep just like I would on my warlock and grab all my spell dmg consumables, oil/spell dmg food/flask of supreme(or blinding light if I'm feeling saucy) I've been unflasked the last two Pudo Trash runs and have been able to survive easily (consecration + outranging the necro shadow bolts ftw) but I feel like my timing still needs a bit of tweaking. One avenging/holy wrath right as all those ghouls get on me that bounces to the crypt fiends without my healers having a heart attack from unblocked attacks would be sexy, but the timing just isn't clicking on most pulls.

Also it seems like every mage and warlock has an effin' death wish whenever I'm tanking, for fucks sake, focus down a necro or abom before you start mashing your AE or Seed button. I have to be hit to have aggro and you guys are going buck wild the minute you see my holy spooge on the ground. Most of the time I can taunt back, but christ, my taunt is on a 15 sec cd and I'm the salv pally, so if I bop you I'm only extending your life by 15 secs before that residual aggro gets blown through and I have to scrape you off the scenery like so much exploded bubble gum.

I'm wondering if it'd be possible to work with my brother on pally tanking/strats so that pudo and Epatrick could be in the same raid. I worked really hard on pudo and wouldn't give him up entirely, but sometimes I just wish I could raid with my brother and top the meters without dying because pudolski ISN'T tanking. but that's a pipe dream probably. Galen doesn't want to raid and only plays on his hunter when he's REALLY bored.

Pudo's new record Heroic Shattered Halls run is 40 mins 20 secs from first buff to last loot. I'm not sure how I can shave this down further, but I'm going to try next week. Perhaps if I pull two whole packs of elites I can put on more +Block Value and aoe tank them all down...I'm fairly certain I have the health to survive that now, especially with how weak they hit. Maybe I'll try and convince two warlocks, a shadow priest and a druid/pally to come along next time, I have a feeling seeds/mana regen and an extra buffer on health from kings/ mark might be the best combo, or maybe a lock, mage spriest healer and me...hmmm....
