LF1M One Shotted Anetheron on our first official night in Hyjal. GREAT JOB EVERYONE!
Making it all the way to Kaz'rogal on our first night in not bad at all. DPS on Kaz himself was a bit low, but his trash is some of the hardest in the game and we managed to plow through it on our first attempt.

Yeah, I've noticed it a lot
Agoney — Sun, 04/13/2008 - 14:38Yeah, I've noticed it a lot too for Kaz and Aneth, you have a lot of time left on the timers after each wave, but it seems to spawn about 5-10 seconds after you kill the last mob, even if the timer says XX time remains.
On wave 8 we usually start backing tracking the mobs back up towards thrall to get into position for kaz. The rogues stay near the entrance to get ready to stealth up and hold kaz(and az'galor as well) into place so we can buff and such. 2 rogues can almost keep Kaz at a stand still, with 3 rogues you can keep him permantely "froze", unless a distract is resisted of course.
Only kaz and Az can be distracted,winterchill and aneth are immune.

saedo — Sun, 04/13/2008 - 14:24Yup have em run up there when there's a handful of mobs left to prepare. If dps does happen to be slow and timer ticks down while trash is up, that's when they can vanish to get OOC and start the distracts to buy time.

Dufe — Sun, 04/13/2008 - 13:00Part of the problem with timing, at least for me, was that my bigwigs told me we actually still had 60 sec when left when he showed up, so I was a bit unprepared. Did anyone else have timer problems? It seemed really wierd to me that we would have any time, since it's always been so close in the past, but I guess I was dumb enough to realy on the timer anyway.

Captnopants — Sun, 04/13/2008 - 08:32I didn't have time to switch to any SR gear during the first attempt because I couldn't drop combat. I did end up resisting alot of the marks with just the SR buff though.

saedo — Sun, 04/13/2008 - 11:53You should prob try to switch it before the last wave. Or have some sort of wardrobe mod like Outfitter and it'll switch it for you when combat if left.
Futher thinking, was this about Kaz'rogal? For the SR? Rogues weren't going and distracting him so ppl had plenty of time?
