So my understanding is especially for sword rogues who tend to have slow MH 2.6 speed and higher, haste procs and abilities are like candy, or sex, or steak even. Thus every rogue is gunning for the DST. In the mean time would it be worthwhile for rogues that don't have it to get the abacus from Mech, since that seems to be the blue quality version of DST, with its main difference being it procs on use vs on hit. Discuss

Ret Paladin's currently find that trinket to be #1 in terms of dps in game. In fact the top 3 go something like this
1. Shard of Contempt
2. DST
3. Darkmoone Card:Crusade (I personally don't agree with this since I have never had one, and never had the time/money to farm one up.)~Legendary Nobody

Shihli — Wed, 04/16/2008 - 15:46I would say, Derchlon, that [Berserker's Call] only requires a full ZA clear and a bit o' luck. Assuming we can squeeze people in, we might be able to swap people around for Zul'jin on the twice-weekly ZA Bear Mount Runs, for shots at it.
In general, the following is a list of trinkets that I feel any physical dps'er should consider:
[Abacus of Violent Odds] - last boss, Mechanar
[Hourglass of the Unraveller] - 2nd boss, Black Morass
[Bloodlust Brooch] - 41 [Badge of Justice]
[Berserker's Call] - last boss, Zul'Aman
[Shard of Contempt] - 3rd boss, heroic Magister's Terrace (not for hunters)
[Dragonspine Trophy] - Gruul
[Tsunami Talisman] - Leotheras the Blind, SSC
[Madness of the Betrayer] - Illidari Council, BT
Obviously, some are more ... easily attainable than others. Personally, I sat on [Hourglass of the Unraveller] and [Bloodlust Brooch] for ages, until I got my [Berserker's Call] and [Madness of the Betrayer].

MaxDPS blows. DST is top still. Shard of Contempt can be good but dimishes in value as you gear up. Berserker's is no where near any of them, but better than your blue trinkets.

Derchlon — Wed, 04/16/2008 - 15:02[Berserker's Call] isn't as easy to get as you propose Garreth, but that being said, [Shard of Contempt] only requires a spontaneous 5 man to pull off, and its really quite good for Rogues.
Also: Bacon trumps Sausage in the morning, but on Pizza, Sausage wins.
