GUILD STORE

Hi everyone this is my first post so please give me feedback (is feedback one word or two?). Anyway I want to toss an idea at the guild. It's a guild store. What I mean is there are tons of people in our guild that craft things and sell them in the AH, or don't. I was thinking we could open a store for ourselves where we do trading and sell items such as raid materia , mats for whatever and some stockins for Atar and Dierk :) I figure with my account I can supply mats for several different thing potions etc. maybe we can get a some type of system going? it's just a though so we can keep it in the family make money and help each other in new ways. I think it'll also fogre new bonds and strengthen our already strong guild foundation. Git at me with feedback :)

If you're talking mat swapping, that seems fine but could probably just be done by asking in guild chat. Trying to formalize this would probably just be too complicated.
Personally, I have my own alt-mules that I hoard stuff on. If people ask for something that I have extra of, I'll just send it to them. BTW, ArkInventory makes this SUPER easy. It tracks all items accessible (i.e. bags, bank, guild bank, mail) by all your toons and provides an easy Search feature to find items. I have a couple of personal guild banks on a some of my alt-mules so this feature is invaluable to me. And, yes, I'm a packrat. :)

From the way I see it, the guild bank acts as a pseudo-store. If people feel like donating items they craft, they are more than welcome to do so. The raid mats tabs are available to all of the guild officers as well as raid officers for anyone to request an item.
When I make an item, or get an item that may be useful to someone else, I try to either deposit it in the bank or offer it up in guild chat.
The idea is great, but I won't ever charge a guildie for services or items and I know many others are in the same boat.
