Keisjaa — Mon, 05/19/2008 - 12:34As a destro lock your Damage come from the fact that SHadow Bolt scales far better than any other warlock spell(sadly the destro tree has some crappy talents you'll neveruse, so you'll have a few "throw away" points)
I'd keep Backlash (3%crit is really nice, & the instant SB will be handy in hyjal if a mob gets away for a sec)
Nether Protection is handy & only cuses problems if you have to be the lock tank for capernian/illidan/leo
I'd only toss points in cataclysm as filler
Shadowburn is handy if only as an instant cast for that last little bit of dmg on a mob(and a point you'd need to spend anyway)
SAMPLE BUILD I WORKED UP(demo talents may vary, i just chose em based on self buffing, and had one throw away point in imp imp)

I was also thinking about getting rid of shadowburn and getting 1st rank of soul leech. Also I appreciate the advice on making my dps abd damage beter, It's gonna help me out alot.
