I want to get a new hard drive to store my music and videos and i was thinking of using an external drive (laptop now, tower later) but i dont know which to get a 500gb drive for $85 or a 1tb for $190.

Anyone have experience with terabyte sized drives?

thanks

You'll want the extra space

You'll want the extra space eventually. Whether it's better to buy a 500 now and get second 500 later or just get the 1tb now is up to you.
