You'll see Sorahn quite high on the damage meters because he dispelled so many curses while then the damage is attributed to him: http://wowwebstats.com/avzxj22odt22g?c=mag. I don't know if that's good or bad yet.
I do know that I'd rather see mages err on the side of cleansing too early than too late!
