I noticed that alot of the time we as the mages were either not close enough to nova. (I generally just used my elementals nova for safeties sake if it's up , if not I run in.) There was a few times where the first thing I see when I threw down a nova was an icelance as I was near melee range, scaring the shit out of me each time.
People coming too close to me with the parasite was pretty scary too XD. Like, ewiges had the idea, he went a good distance from the raid and that was great, wasn't in range to do a normal nova but my elemental had that covered ;).
But then there was times that people were like, right in my face with the parasites. That one time I got two parasites I saw it coming and blocked asap, (I had just done a nova , was too close to Karlizeth, so had to wait for a GBCD) But, HEY, I survived and was able to get away unscaved XD.
