computer crashed!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRR got a question

Hey finally got my comp reformatted.. still no clue what happened. Graphics card seems to be buggy before & after (causing lag issues & screen flashing). I updated Direct X to newest version.. updated my graohics card drivers. It hasnt been messing up since, but I'm considering buying a new graphics card.. Not really sure what to buy.. I have a Dell XPS 210 and they are the slim model so I dont know if any normal card will fit in the case.. any suggestions?

ATM buyin a new pc is not in the process since i'm still paying on this... :(
