Closing for lack of communication during the application process.

He came and rescued me in a Gruul/Mag one weekend. He seemed very confused as to why I asked him to join us and about the app process. I think he thought some of the constructive criticism (and a classic Jasmynn post) was a "sorry guy, but no" to his app.

After that he just sorta vanished....if ur still alive Calcify...was it just too much? Gotta have thick skin in Downfall.

It's not so much we don't believe you can't perform, but rather, we can't provide a spot for you, all our DPS warriors are consistent and perform very well in raid.

Agreed, DPS warriors are everywhere, but not applying is probably worse for me at this point. I also think that I am much better than average warriors, and would easily be a success in gameplay, but I also understand a guild being full on dps warriors in raids and so on.

OH YES! Weren't we just totally looking for ANOTHER dps warrior?!

I kid. But, seriously, being a dps warrior at this stage in raiding and progression is like being the thirtieth guy to walk through the door at the keg party where only one girl showed up. We have a dps warrior line-up that stretches around the block at this time :( Our Raid:LF1M runs with TWO: Gares and Judgedredd. Our Raid:Hamfist runs with Kybosh and, lately, Pkmaster.

At this stage of our guild, what we need are people that are highly active, self-sustainable, and helpful to the point of creepiness. We need tanks who can step up and run a heroic underbog, we need people that have no probelm jumping into BT, but then stepping out when the 3-year raider comes back online. We need community members who can legitimately contribute with no hopes of seeing BT or Sunwell.

Two notes:

1) "E-playahs" won't get far here. Particularly not 19-year-old ones ... most of the women in guild here are mid-20's.

2) History major? You're majoring in poverty! Go with something that teaches an applicable skill/talent, like ... engineering!
