Hello guys and dolls!  I'm in the beautiful town of Taskesti here in northwest Turkey, about 3 hours south of the Black Sea.  I'm doing my geology field camp to get the bloody degree.

 One of the major tools for geologists is the Brunton compass.  This is a fancy little instrument that allows us to take field readings and figure out where everything we have is going to lie in a field map.

 It has two types of level, several degree systems, a mirror, and a hard metal exterior.

 Here are 5 uses of the Brunton compass that are not manufacturer specified:

1.  Plucking your eyebrows in the mirror.

2.  Using the mirror to shine sunlight directly into the eyes of your professor, just to make him curse.

3.  Killing a spider that happens to land on your arm.

4.  Impressing village kids with your totally cool gadgets.

5.  Staring at the hot field geologist guys as they strip around a corner.  Oh yes, it works.

Everything's going great here, but I miss WoW!  My Horde-friend's guild just downed Illidan, and she's homesick.  I'm getting her converted back to Alliance slowly.
