Pirates V Ninjas, the Official Blizzard Take

After opening a ticket in order to get Zildo's his Lightning Capacitor the blizzard GM asked me as usual if there was anything else I needed.
Todays response was "Yes can i please have some pirate cake instead of ninja pie."
Long story short, The Pie V Cake was never settled but blizzard supports PIRATES!

- Blizzard created a playable class that has a STRONG likeness to Ninjas versus nothing for Pirates. It is hard to agrue that rogues are not based off of ninjas.
- "Stealthing" is definately a ninja technique that is seen in end game (BT) versus no disgishable pirate likeness in any instance post VC/Stocks.
- There are more quests to kill pirates than to kill ninja-like npcs... this I admit is an estimate based on the quests I have seen while as a Gnome, Human, Night Elf, and Dreani.
- Both sides have a settlement where anyone can gain faction.
- The highest level of the Defias Brotherhood looks like a ninja whereas the peons are pirates.
I am sure there is an officical site based on this debate but I wanted to see what I can think of.
