Gearing up Resto

Hai all--
Finally made the switch from enh shammy to resto shammy the other night, now I'm looking to gear up. Since I have no idea what I'm doing (heh, what else is new?), any input would be great! Here's what I'm currently sporting:

Shihli — Wed, 07/09/2008 - 15:58Like I said you can take all 61 in resto and be fine. There's a few recommended specs - my favorites being 8/0/53, 0/5/56, 0/7/54, and even 8/7/46.
I personally prefer 8/0/53
Derchlon — Wed, 07/09/2008 - 16:22I personally prefer 8/0/53 for raiding, but I tend to find 0/7/54 better (or at least more fun) for pvp. Instant Ghost Wolf in WSG is REALLY nice.
The extra mana talent in the enh tree is nice, but those are points you could put into Nature's Guardian, or the Fire/Frost/Nature damage reduction talent in the elemental tree. All you would give up is the ~600 or so mana you would get from Ancestral Knowledge.

By the looks of what you have, you might be better off just buying the blue pvp healing set if you have the rep.
Your spec is fine, but I would have taken improved reincarnation.
Also, are you gearing for pvp or pve?
