Well looks like I may miss this raid too. :( This morning (Sunday) I got up to find my computer wouldnt turn on. I deduced that my power supply burned out. As many of you know I recently payed my college tuition and bought all of my text books so i am about as broke as they come.
I called up my dad (who is not one you want to ask for money) to see if he had some money to spare so I could get a new power supply. The way he sounded (and as I suspected) he is trying every possible way to circumvent actually having to pay for a new power supply to actualy fix my computer. He thinks I'm wrong about the problem eventhough I know 1000x more than he does about computers. Hell I had to explain to him what a power supply was and yet he still thinks the outlet is to blame even though I have my monitor, speakers and clock hooked up to the same outlet on the same powerstrip... that all work. Not to mention the little green LED on the back that shows it is recieveing power. The power is just not getting to the computer.
Even If I do get a new power supply by tomorrow night I still have a 3 page essay to type and some calculus homework to submit before I do anything else so my attendance is most likely null for this raid.

P.S. Im looking at getting either a 450-500 watt ps upgraded from the 300 watt that fried. so thats $70-$100
