So basically, this is a post for Hamfist raiders. Since my induction into Downfall, and Hamfist for that matter, I've been told there was the let's say "Curse of the Emo Shaman". Hamfist has been going through shamans like they were underwear on sale. I think I'm about to reach the one year mark now. I've have yet to leave. I know lots of people bet on it, and wlel shit some people are still betting on it. Here's some tips to keep 'emo' safe. LF1M, ya'll prolly don't share this curse but it's good to help your WoW blues.

1) Totally go against your raid leader, but in a subtle non threatening way. Garreth tells me to get outta general at least once per raid. I get out sure. But it makes me chuckle when he askes you immediately after saying hi to some of "your" friends but not everyone else's! Love you Garreth.

2) Give up caring about loot. Sure I think we could change the system, sure some things would improve. But in the end, it's just loot. And yes, I still complain from time to time to Anti and Kati. That's called the venting process to trusted friends guys. They will listen, either A. Respond, or B. say 'meh" (Kati) but you know that officers won't hear and makes you feel better. :D 

3) Spec. Now a lot of people think Enhancement would be like the BEST THING ever to play. I've been trying to go RESTO for like 2 months. If an Enh shammy wants todo that it's for 3 reasons, all three of which are my reasons. A] They don't fucking understand what buffs we need and ALWAYS shrug it off when I ask for something else. I stopped Asking. B]I literally do nothing all raid and get high dmg... It's like HEY! I can Auto atk 1100 DPS, that's when the good shaman kicks in and I do a lot more DPS (1850 on Brut couple times!!!) and C] Loot : I get comments about low DPS from time to time. Generally people don't fucking understand anything about shaman itemization, so I don't bag them. Itemization being in the crapper and our loot system the way it is. You don't want to be Enhancement. It's a simple fact really.

4) Finally. Because your supposed to. I've never been 1 to conform to anything, and when people tell me they got bets riding on me, best be damn sure you know who your betting against. I stay in hamfist because I like seeing end game content. But with all the expectations on me, people look up to me, kinda sad really. I stay because everyone wants to put blame on the shammy case. I'm not one of them, I'm thinking Jorence is the same way. 

Reading the Above 4 excerpts, you will have tools to no longer seem like the emo shaman ready to jump on the train to another guild, another server, another class. Hope it helps.
