awww twins... do you guys wear the same clothes and take tests for each other in school? did you meet by chance at camp and trade places to get your parents back together?
just fuckin with ya.
[timbal's focusing crystal] on a destro lock makes me want to club infants while they lovingly pet baby seals. put together the blessings deck. other than that its all ZA and badge loot. you are at hit cap but spell damage and crit leave a lot to be desired.

Timbal's Focusing Crystal isn't great, I know. However, I just recently took off the scryer hit trinket, and that was the only one I had with decent amounts of +damage on it. I will work towards the blessings deck - thanks for the tip. I also acknowledge that my crit is very low. The one thing I suspect you may have missed looking at my armory profile is that I have 140ish spell haste rating, which is around 10% increased speed to Shadowbolt.
Once again I am gonna list the major things that seemed to stick out in your application and give you the ability to delv into more detail about them
First:
"Would it be a problem if you had to wait 3 weeks or 3 months to get into raid?: In my current guild raiding has stalled, so while I would prefer to raid immediately, waiting for a spot to open up would still be preferable to my current situation."
At least LF1m has 1 fairly decent raiding warlock, and we also already have other warlocks in guild. DPS wise your a little low for the gear level that hamfist is at.
Second:
"What do you expect to get out of Downfall membership?: To put it bluntly, I expect to raid on a regular basis, though I am perfectly willing to wait in line behind those who have been part of Downfall longer."
As I responded to in another app right before this. When you app to this guild (at least for me) I'm already expecting that you probably want to raid something (unless you clearly say differently). Downfall however is very much a community centric guild, first and before raiding. So if you are only coming for the raids (that you might not get a spot in), it makes me ask myself what you might actually bring to said community.

While I can see where you're coming from with your concerns, I said that I expected to raid so that there would be no confusion whatsoever about my intentions. Of course everyone wants a fun social environment, and I took this as a given when I wrote this app. However, I did not want to mislead anyone by stating anything less than the truth - that I do want to raid.
Also, I don't expect to immediately obtain a spot in either of the 25man raids immediately. I am perfectly content to serve as a backup, while participating in other guild raids and heroics. Again, I apologize for any confusion I may have caused by not stating my desire for a social environment. It was not my intent to imply that I did not care about the social aspects of Downfall, but rather that I was trying to be honest and frank. (Edited for clarity and spelling.)
Thank you for your application to Downfall. We are doing minimal recruiting for our 25 man MH/BT/SW raids. This does not mean that your application is or will be rejected. What it does mean, is that you will now be faced with a few tasks.
Downfall is a community first and foremost and a successful raiding guild second. First you need to ask yourself what it is you want from Downfall. If it's a spot in end game raid, and nothing more...then you may want to seek entry into another one of the many guilds on Gorgonnash.
If you desire a strong sense of community then get ready to work for it! When we talk about community, we aren't talking about the type of community that jumps when you say OMGRUNMYALTTHRUVC!!!! We're talking about a group for people who love this game we pour our lives into, people who will run things with you when they have time, people who may have their own special way of contributing to the community.
Now that you have applied (and if my wall of text didn't lose u 2 paragraphs ago), don't just sit there and hope someone will come hunt you down and say "HERE'S YOUR INVITE!!" because that simply will not happen. Those who gain entry into Downfall work for it. Members have waited upwards of 3 months or more to be part of our community. How do you ensure that you have every option to be the next addition?
Here's an idea:
Stay active on this thread, it's your application. You will receive feedback and recommendations. Don't take anything personal, if you can't take constructive criticism, you will never make it in guild chat. Applications are open to the entire community, not just officers, so if you were a douche to a member in the past, be ready for it to bite you in the ass.
If given goals to meet, make them.
Sign up for events you can make and which you are geared for. No need to sign up for MH/BT/SW, as those aren't testing grounds for new members. Focus on the Sunday Gruul/Mag run by yours truly or the Saturday SSC/TK run by Grasen.
If you sign up...show up. No one likes an app who signs up for all raids and never shows. Be sure to send a tell to the raid leader so he/she knows you are available and ready to rock.
Download the raid pack. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT show up to a Gruul/Mag or SSC/TK without our required add ons. If you do not understand what you are looking at, then research it. If you still don't understand, post you're question and someone will help you. (If you think only bad players use mods, we can say our goodbyes right now)
Do everything you can to get your name out there, and show why you should be part of our community. Run 5 mans, Run 10 mans, participate in forum discussions.
If and when you are accepted into Downfall, you are strictly on a trial basis. If we invite you because you convinced us you were the worlds greatest healer/tank/random dps class, and you looooooooooove to run 5 mans...but you never run a thing, you never sign up for fun runs, and you burn out and don't sign on for 1+ months, don't be surprised if you find yourself guildless on log in one day.
It's very simple, don't say what we want to hear just to get in, because it will haunt you in the end. Be honest, and we will be fair.
Aidin will come through here shortly with her stock reply that has a lot of info on what you need to do.
Before that though, let me offer one bit of advice: STAY ACTIVE. Active on the site, active in game, active in what we do. We're too big with too much going on to really cater to 'casual' players who can't figure out a website or show up for our raids, events, etc.
Stay active, stay smart, stay upbeat and stay helpful.

You can use Afton as a contact too. But yea, he's probably a better player than I at times. I suggest signing up for some mAlts or w/e that's what I did. Nevertheless I support this app and feel that awarlock would indefinately be a good fit for downfall <_<.
