Working sick.

Well i have been sick since sat. Yesterday was perticularaally rough. Today i figured "well i'm off on tue so i'll go ahead and go into work today and tough it out." Boy was that a mistake. anytime i found myself with down time between cars today and tried to sit down and rest a lil my boss was all over me to git up and clean something. he kept me so busy i didnt even git lunch till almost 3. I tell yah next time i think i'll go tough it out instead of calling in i'll sure think twice. Why should i go in to make sure they are covered while I am sick if they aint even gonna let me take it a lil easy on that day? so glad i'm off work tomorrow.

Dikymo — Sun, 02/24/2008 - 14:45I dont get sick days. I will never forget driving to new york with a temp of 104 and my throat swollen to the point I could barely speak let alone sing. Nothing like carrying all my gear into a club playing for the whole night freezing and sweating at the same time. I fell down trying to get to my car at the end of the night. Getting sick + being self employeed = ball sack.

Sorahn — Tue, 02/19/2008 - 13:35I almost always go into work when I'm sick unless it's really bad. It's vastly more relaxing than staying at home where my wife/kids makes me do stuff. At least in my office, I can close the door and things are quiet. :)
