In the Leo fight, I'm very cautious about when I dps.  I really don't want to pull aggro after the whirlwind, so I spend a lot of time waiting for other people to go crazy-go-nuts, before I jump in.  Only exception being when zifter says its okay to nuke the demon form.

I took a hell of a lot of damage in that fight.  Most of that was the debuff from whirlwind.  Thats my fault for not getting far enough back.  I should never be getting that debuff.

 I just took a look at what Shihli said, and I can see at least 20-40 seconds of time in the fight where I'm not DPSing, when it is safe to do it in theory.  Add that with my previous misconception about aggro in the human phase, and I should have much better numbers tonight.

Well, for me to get that high of a dps time there's a few things I do. This mostly applies to humanoid phases with the whirlwindings.

First, run speed to boots. Faster I get there, faster I nuke.

Second, watch timers. Know when to run out, know when whirlwind is ending so I can inch towards Everstar (while still watching and maintaing a fair distance from Leo).

Third, try to maintain high rupture uptime. I did 15K-23K more damage alone than the others doing that. I actually break a fundamental rule in rogue dps here. I prioritized Rupture over SnD. Cause of all the running, white damage suffers, I want burst. So, I use 3 point ruptures to get in as much rupture time as possible. Ideally, I would do a 1s/3r then get out, maybe 1 or 2 more SS if there's time. Then when I run back in, if I'm at 1 CP, I SnD, then work towards a Rupture. If I'm at 2 CP, I SS, then Rupture, then SS and SnD. If I'm at 3 CP, I Rupture then SS and SnD.

Forth, this is also a fight where I pick to use [Warp Burger] over [Spicy Hot Talbuk] for the burst.

Well as for compared to last week, dunno why I gained 5% dps time. Looks like I did manage more rupture uptime this week than last (132 vs 111). Could just have gotten better refining my technique on this fight.

Also, why did Tenbears die twice on both attempts?

Also, fire mages get nailed a bit by this fight since a fair part of our damage relies on the scorch debuff being fully stacked. Very hard to keep up in this fight (for hopefully obvious reasons) without my buddy Lepp helpin me.

This is our Leo kill form last week. I think it was obvious that we had FAR more aggro pulls b/w phases last night than last week. Sort both by "% DPS Time." Last week, lota ranged up top. This week, lota melee up top. I'm not at all saying melee was pulling aggro, because we know they weren't. But I am wondering if having aggro pulled off the tank is affecting ranged more than melee? (In terms of dps time) Seems wierd to me if thats the case. All I can think of is my own case, where not being able to shoot him at all due to an aggro pull causes the scorch debuff to time out. Ideas?

Also, the 1000 point drop in total raid dps compared to last week I think shoudl be the only evidence needed to show people how stupid it is to pull aggro on this fight.  Nobody else can dps when there is no tank on the target.

How did a feral druid do more damage than 4 hunters, 4 warlocks, and 2 mages on our last Leo attempt?  Minus 1 warlock for tanking.

I to am iffy at best tonight Atar. fineally broke down and went to the doc today after my sickness progressed to blowing blood from my nose and blood draining from my left ear (litterally) turns out its a severe sinus infection that has progressed into my ear so they gave me antibiotiocs. its still kicking my ass something fierce though.
