Need Resto Shammy gear advice!

I have a collection of badges (49), marks/honor (11k honor, 15 AB marks, 25 EOTS marks, 60 AV marks, 25 WSG marks), mats and gold. Still grinding more of all, but I'm getting to the point where I need to start thinking about how to spend it.
I want to do it most efficiently for my Resto Shammy... It doesn't feel like I'm too far from being 1500-1600 healing (up from my current unbuffed 1417). Here's a link to my WOW Armory page, and I've called out what I think some of the key gaps are below. Whether it's better enchants/gems, new gear, whatever, I'd love to know what I should be going for in the next couple of weeks. Help me out, smarter people!
Trinket 2 -- Charm of Alacrity currently does nothing for my healing. I'm grinding LC rep for the Lower City Prayerbook (still about 8k rep out). Any cheap/easy short term fixes while I grind that would be good to know about.
Boots -- Auchenai Boots are ok but they're ready for an upgrade. Not sure where to go here. I've looked at Treads of the Life Path (60 Badges) and Guardian's Ringmail Sabatons (17k honor/40 EOTS badges), but I'm not sure what else is out there that would be a soon-to-acquire upgrade and make them expensively irrelevant, or that I could buy mats for and have crafted.
Chest -- Sitting on Seer's Ringmail Chestguard. Looking at Merciless Gladiator's Ringmail Armor (14,500 honor/30 AB badges). Wave of Life Chestguard is also being considered, but at 100 Badges it's several weeks out. I need a little more guidance on this one.
Cloak -- I have Cloak of the Everliving. No idea where to go on this -- Help!!
Neck -- Living Ruby Pendant. Yeah, this one needs big help too.

Prime8 — Thu, 09/18/2008 - 13:04I know this is an old topic, but I also could use a bit of advice. Currently my resto shoulders are Gnarled Ironwood Pauldrons, and I'm looking for an upgrade. Searching wowhead, I can't find anything that appears to be better pre-t5. I have the Dragon Quake shoulders from KZ, the mp5 is nice but the lower healing and lack of sockets makes them worse IMO. I have the token for the t4 shoulders, and already have the t4 gloves and head. The gnarled ironwood shoulders look like they're roughly equal to the t4, but I don't see any reason to take the t4 shoulders over say, the t4 enhance shoulders (for offspec), unless I get a decent upgrade to either my gloves or head. Any thoughts?

Dont stack haste too early as it is counter productive to your Mp5 and without the Mp5 to sustain it you will go oom w/ pot and manatide on cd within 5 minutes. I still manage to do this from time to time :P Shh! That isn't to say don't pick up an upgrade out of ZA b/c it has haste obviously but I would try to get to the 130 mp5 mark before water shield before I consciously started stacking haste.
You really cant go wrong going SSO exalted. You can pick urself up a melee and caster neck as well if you ever decide to respec and from the looks of things youre already aldor exalted :D

Gloves of Centering or
Gloves of Quickening
would be both be good upgrades for your gloves. As well as the T4 gloves, so that you can get the 2 piece set bonus.
Also, if you want to run Magister's Terrace these boots drop there on normal

Though [item]Scarab of the Infinite Cycle[/item] is amazing and better than many epic trinkets for shaman.
For boots:
[item]Treads of the Life Path[/item] are also amazing. I recommend picking these up as they are debatably better than the ones off Rage in Hyjal and therefore can't be replaced til t6. The sandals off zul'jin are great as well but these are a sure thing through badges.
Get SSO exalted and exalted with your faction (aldor/scryer) and pick up [item]Shattered Sun Pendant of Restoration[/item]
There are a couple healing cloaks out of Kara and one will eventually drop for you: [item]Stainless Cloak of the Pure Hearted[/item] and [item]Red Riding Hood's Cloak[/item]
If youre going to get anything from PvP I would replace your caster ring with the Vindicator's healing one as it has Mp5 on it (something alot of PvP gear lacks) and get your ass into malt and pick up t4 chest/shoulders/leg :-D

I still use mine. as for boots, the badge ones are nice, if you can get into a ZA you can go for the sandles(i know its cloth but it's really sexy cloth). I can't think of a good cloak off the top of my head so i'll look some up when i get home. hope that helped
