This seemed to work well last week, so let's give it another go. Same deal, I need badges and loot. You probably do as well. Let's run Kara and pick up both!

Absolutely Cihe... I hope I
Torvo — Sat, 09/13/2008 - 10:21Absolutely Cihe... I hope I didn't come across as rude - I was doing the same thing when I was in your position (as Shihli pointed out). The difference is that I'm still not very good - compared to some of the guild's seasoned/geared raiders who carried me thru my first Karas. It's nothing against you, it has more to do with my lack of comfort with some of the boss strategies (especially the later ones) and my own (in)ability to clear the raid.
That said, if you still want to come along it looks like we'll have several open spots so you'd be welcome to join us.
Got a shadow priest I can
Mashedtater — Sat, 09/13/2008 - 10:20Got a shadow priest I can bring if you need (Acidhead). hit me up. I'll try to get the yard dealt with by then

Don't write him off Torvo,
Shihli — Sat, 09/13/2008 - 01:06Don't write him off Torvo, you went into Kara with piss-poor gear your first time too.
Sorry Cihe, but I'm not sure
Torvo — Sat, 09/13/2008 - 00:54Sorry Cihe, but I'm not sure we could carry you in the gear you're sporting right now. I'd run some 5 man instances and upgrade more of your greens to blues before trying Kara... Let me know if you want someone to heal those, as I could use rep from several of the instances. They're quicker, easier, and you'll still get good upgrades to your gear.
im down to come i have kinda
Cihe — Fri, 09/12/2008 - 16:55im down to come i have kinda crappy gear but gotta run stuff to get better stuff. so ill be around if ya need a dps.
