Raid : mAlt SSC
Oh yea...mAlt taking a step up! With our journey into new worlds, there may be a few bosses we just can't do.
Hydross won't happen with a mAlt run unless we have some tanks willing to work on resist sets. If there is another tank out there willing to do so, I'll work on one for Aidin.
An FR tank is needed. Historically it's been a warlock with the proper spec/gear to tackle Leo. Tank must have 365 FR buffed (if ur a lock you get 70 from your fel puppy and everyone gets 70 from your friendly rogue converted to paladin) Here's a cool lock video that will show you the spec as well : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxbgetzFcU8
If we have some old schoolers who want to come for fun...like Pudo and his love for fathom...then it may not be a big deal, but let's try to get some regular mAlters on this.
RULES:
- 1. Open rolls on all gear regardless of spec or main vs. alt.
- 2. Raid will NOT exceed 3 hrs.
- 3. No more then 4-5 wipes per boss, if another boss is an option, we move to it, if not...we're done for the night, no one likes repair bills.
- 4. Your gear MUST be on par with the content. NO BLUES AT ALL. You should be rockin some Gruul/Mag gear somewhere in your set
- 5. YOU MUST MUST MUST BE RAID SPEC'ED. A big fat NO on PvP specs.
- 6. We will NOT have our sights set on Vashj or Kael. Grasen's Smash and Grab has moved to Sunday and will be taking out these bosses with a solid crew. You want to go with them? Prove it here.
- 7. The absolutely MOST important rule for a mAlt run....HAVE FRIGGIN FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SEE YOU SATURDAY AT 4:00 SERVER!!!

Signing up in case you need
Torvo — Tue, 09/16/2008 - 17:10Signing up in case you need me in spite of what will probably be 2-3 blues at this point (neck, back, chest). Guaranteeing 1620+ unbuffed heals and 8600+ unbuffed health as I will have rep for Lower City Prayerbook before this run, and any upgrades I pick up in Kara prior to this run will be on top of those stats. Understand if better geared healers sign up and you can't bring me, but I'm ready to tackle something new and challenging!
Be ready to rock Torvo, I'm

Is Smash N Grab Sunday still
saedo — Mon, 09/15/2008 - 10:22Is Smash N Grab Sunday still calls or keep to open rolls?
---------------------------------------------
Unsure, Grasen has not
Aidin — Mon, 09/15/2008 - 10:32Unsure, Grasen has not mentioned changing those rules, so atm I simply assume that it will remain calls.
1. Open rolls on all gear
Aidin — Mon, 09/15/2008 - 10:191. Open rolls on all gear regardless of spec or main vs. alt.
OPEN ROLLS NO CALLS NEEDED!!!!
Umm AIDIN!!!! I'm assuming
saedo — Mon, 09/15/2008 - 10:12Umm AIDIN!!!! I'm assuming the Call System is not in play during the mALT portion of the instance right? Free rolls?

Avocado burns your fat inside of you. Rice does not give you fat. Seaweed gives you buffs
Aidin, I'm signing up on a
Shihli — Mon, 09/15/2008 - 09:56Aidin, I'm signing up on a conditional sort of basis.
I'm a bit tired of SSC, and there's nothing I want out of there on Shihli (not even Tsunami Talisman anymore), nor do I care about gearing up Luchs or Drewpy.
HOWEVER!
That doesn't mean I won't come help if the raid's ability to move ahead hinges on a tank/healer/dps.
My plan is, I'll be on Vent, in-channel, during the raid. Give me a holler if you end up needing me to come in, I have no problems doing so.
Gawd my alts always fail at
saedo — Mon, 09/15/2008 - 09:51Gawd my alts always fail at the rules in these mALTs.
Rule 4 in this case, I'm still wearing a blue and wear absolutely nothing from Gruul/Mag's. ;p
Oh yea for Leo tank, it doesn' have to be a warlock. Just someone with FR. I can do it. I think Derch has a set too. Probably one of the Illidan FR tanks could too.
