Dear Guild,
New job workin as an ACTUAL geologist (pronounced: gee-olly-gee-ist) is going well. I'm moved into the town of Metaline Falls, where there is a population of approximately... wait for it....... come on now.....
160.
That's right, I live in a town that has a population of 160. To figure out how that relates, the mine that I work at has 240 employees.... There are two other, smaller towns, within 20 minutes, so they might count.
I live in a 1.5 bedroom apartment. For Katie, Gares, and Garreth: The size of the master bath at the WoW House is the size of the 0.5 Bedroom.
I work as a grade control geologist, which means I look at rocks and play with excel spreadsheets all day. And they let me make maps and I even have to have a BATFE background check (bureau of alcohol, tobacco, firearmes, explosives) because there's dynamite!
I finally got internet (slow, but useable) and as soon as I can get the desktop up here, I'll be able to get back to Wowin!

Popplegem — Sat, 09/20/2008 - 14:14Yes, I was thinking about the population of Downfall and my town, and I do believe Downfall may have more players than my town. And I know more of you too. Argh.
But the weather is pretty and my neighbors are quiet (although the Post Office is suprisingly loud, go figure).
