Josalin and WotLK
Josalin — Wed, 09/24/2008 - 10:08
Had you talked to me a week ago, I was positive I was going to be continuing to raid come WotLK. If you talk to me today, I would have another story to tell you. To put this as simply as possible, I'm retiring from raiding.
I know its very sudden, and honestly, it was a decision that I made yesterday that sparked this. Come January I will be going back to school, and trying to get my life back on track. I know myself and my personality well enough by now to know if I'm raiding come wrath, I won't do my homework, I won't study, I'll procrastinate to hell and back.
Does this mean I'm quitting the game?
To be honest, right now, I'm not sure what it means. I'll be playing it by ear. If I can keep the game active and just tinker around with it now and then, than I will be more then happy to keep my account open. However, the second it starts to interfere with my homework, that will be the last time Josalin logs in again. I will continue to raid and play until then(after all I have the game preordered already)
I'll definitely miss raiding with you guys. I had a lot of fun, and I'm glad I was given the chance to share in the fun.
Much love,
Josalin

Keep in touch Jos, I know as I get deeper into my major I might have to call off raiding as well. Its a precarious balancing act I'm doin atm myself. If I didn't have the ability to study @ work I would have had to quit already.
Gonna miss you...

Do it, it pays off in the long run. I'm glad you have the testicles/ovaries to make this decision. Go kick some academic ass.
