I believe Mods are a crucial part of raiding. Mods like DBM, which warn the entire raid are priceless and most of all prevent wipes. DPS should have Omen or some sort of threat meter

Well, my father was in the military so I traveled a lot when growing up. We finally settled down in Pittsburgh, PA. That has been home for some time now. I attended a police academy in Florida and found myself doing IT work for an alternative fuels company in Pittsburgh… go figure. I am married with no children as of yet.

He seems decent, a few questionable sockets. The trinket I don't understand but if you could explain why you would choose it I don't see why not. About 60 hit under the cap, although he is holding a fishing pole I doubt his weapon gives 60 hit rating.

I know I'm new here myself so I don't know how much weight my opinion carries, but Thor's a good guy. I was in a guild (my druid still is) with him and his brothers. I can tell you he's reliable and knows his class. One other thing, perhaps the most important, is he's a mature, laid back guy.

At this point I would have to seriously consider leveling another toon right after I just leveled my lock. I honestly just hit 70 this past Sunday. I find the grind of leveling over and over to be a pain, especially after I just did it... Again, if I did get in with my hunter, I would understand that I would not be accepted in every raid. I would eventually have my shaman or paladin to level 80. I can tell you that I am most experienced with my hunter and it would take me some time to “re-learn” the shaman / paladin classes. I do appreciate your comments.

I would like to make an observation that dps is a dime-a-dozen. I'm not trying to be a nay-sayer (keeping in mind I'm barely one of our core raiders myself), however I would like to ask if you would be willing to level your Shaman or your Paladin up to 70/80. I think the opprotunities to join Downfall would be much more available if you were able to transfer from Healing to Tanking to DPS, etc. Beyond that, healing in general. If you are serious about your application, how serious are you about your class preference? Again, guild-apps are not my decision, but as an FYI you'll always find a place in Downfall more quickly as a flexible player. Need dps? Cool, I'll jump on my Hunter. Oh, healz? Yeah, lemme grab my Shammy. .... Oh, tank now? Sure, my pally's got the gear, but I haven't tanked that much.......

After giving it some thought i am on my way to 70 then 80 with my paladin... I have been messing around with him recently and found myself really enjoying it. Not sure what this does for my orginal app, but i am aiming to be a prot paladin. I look forward to your replies..
