Glyph + Beacon = Paladin all of a sudden #1? I dunno Saedo...I'm not buying it. Maybe it's fight specific? Then again, I am still learning how to be a paladin again with all the new changes.

I tried to watch things closely last night and not let things die...

I noticed that if I loaded a heal on lets say Dragon, but someone else sniped it, it healed for 0 and beacon gets nada. With chains and circles of hax flying around...they should still be on the tops.

Yea fight dependent, but it means you can really shine or keep up with raid healing when everyone's taking damage.

I think you load up the beacon on Dragon himself. Or someone that's gonna be taking damage. Like yourself even maybe. Then go about healing the MT, others, etc. Then all heals you do will snipe on the beacon target. If it's yourself, gives you mana back too.

Beacon allows for some really dynamic healing approaches.

Last night, I was far away from everyone healing Orky by the door. Since we're all taking damage, I Beacon'd myself knowing that I'd have to survive without help from the raid. An awesome side effect to this is that the beacon heals will trigger Spiritual Attunement and give you 10% of the heal back as mana. Also, since there a fair number of melee nearby Orky, the Glyph was going apeshit around him. Oh, and each glyph AND beacon proc CAN CRIT. At one point, I crit orky, I crit myself with beacon and 3 of the glyphs all crit. And my healing proc from the illidan mace went off.

I basically did about 27,000 points of healing IN A SINGLE HEAL. And I got most of the cost of the spell back as mana too (60% from Illumination and about 700 from the effective healing from the beacon heal on me).

Yea looks like only 5 proc whenever Hbk and Ewiges came around to help Orky with adds. What's interesting that I didn't know before is that it will proc on to the very target you healed with Holy Light. So basically more heals right there to him.

Yep, this proves that the glyph already is only a 5 yard thing and isn't being "nerfed" in the next patch, just having it's tooltip adjusted. As it stands, it's an amazing amazing thing for paladins and something I've fallen in love with.

I think I realize what it is. In Parrot if you get like several crits in a row very fast, it merges em together. Like 600 crit, 600 crit, 600 crit, it'll say 1800 (3 crits).

You should know now these two things seem to contradict each other in my mind..........

On the flip side, (I BEAT AIDIN!!!) thanks for the guild application! We can almost always find places for Healers. Especially considering we're possibly looking at two 25 man and two or more 10 man raids come WotLK.

Now for my suggestions. 5mans, Heroics, weeknights, and weekends. Just sign-up if you see an opening (I think theres a ZA this Friday...), and be online/available mon/thurs in case one of the raids needs a PUG. Hamfist and LF1M are still pretty much raiding.

Couple quick questions: Why the nearly stock UI? Raid fps?

Also, can you logout in your healing gear and link a wowhead.com copy of your healing talent build for our healers to glance at? (Trust me, I understand fully the need to stay specced ret for $$ reasons)

Hi, thank you for your generous comments. For the nearly stock UI, i had no screenshot of me while raiding and since im not in a guild, well, im not raiding much so i just took a random screenshot of me, but usually, i simply drag the raid groups to the interface which could be fix if thats a problem for you with Grid. Yes, thats Healbot you see and im ok with it. Although i would be willing to use grid if necessary and if helped to configure. If that can increase my healing and dispelling quickness, why not. http://www.wowhead.com/?talent, thats probably what i would use in a 25 man for holy spec which is a bit different from my current spec cause im not raiding atm. Armory is still not updated atm so i'll be linking it later i guess. Thx for your time.

I used Healbot for a looooooooooooooooong time before making the switch to Grid. I was stubborn about it for so long too. Never regretted it a single day. So much more information provided and it takes up very little real estate on your screen unlike healbot and raid frames.
