As he said last night, he was glyphed into the AoE healing talent from Holy Light, leaving him only one real single-target "focused" healing spell.
Likewise, I'm not exactly sure what is implied by an implied synergy between specific healing classes - but you would have much more knowledge in this area in general. Just asking for clarification is all.

When I hear synergy (outside of my office building), I think of classes complementing each other in such a way that both (or at least one) is made stronger by the other. A good example is the pre-3.0 Warlock and Shadowpriest. Both were strong in their own rights, but put in the same group/raid they gave each other what - a 15% dps increase? Something along those lines.
As far as healing synergy is concerned, I always liked druid/shaman. Not because of any inherent "strength" that one gave the other, but rather because the two covered each other's weak points quite well - shamans make great group healers and have strong, direct heals - but no HoT's and were generally "weaker" single-target healers. Druids were outstanding single-target healers by way of their HoTs but generally didn't want to pump out HoT-packs on more than 2 targets.
Hence why most of my pre-3.0 Bear Mount runs had a druid and a shaman healing.

I wasnt referring to 'synergy' in a competitive form. I'll bring all this out in a upcoming 'epic' lenght post.
Disc is really different since 3.0 and it's very fair that we need an education as a guild on what exactly it brings to a raid and how it is designed to function optimally.

Fjork — Wed, 11/26/2008 - 07:42You may also look into Dominoes as well. There's ALOT of buttons most of us pallies use on an every-few-minutes basis, not to mention all of the other random pickups that we have to use while raiding.
With a little patience, Dominoes is a VERY useful application. You have ten bars of up to 12 buttons. You can hide/move any of there whereever you want on the screen.
