Guild Wrath Release Party
Even if I am working the next day, I'll probably hop on for an hour or two immediately following the midnight release, or at least as soon as I can after installing, etc. I imagine alot of you are in the same boat. I'll be on vent to answer any questions I can from my time on Beta and maybe do (or help people who have questions about) just a few quick quests.

Lvl 74 is the minimum level

Last exp I was on and palying by 4am crashing all morning long. I guess this will pace me out a bit maybe. Though I did manage to stay ahead of the crowd and level faster then most last time.

Anyways, I think my personal plan is this:
- Boat to HF, pick up the 2 Utgarde quests, I believe it's ready w/o chains.
- Turtle to Borean, or boat/fly/hearth around
- Start at Coldarra getting the quest chain down (fun lore and Nexus quest at the end of it).
Gets me the quests for both 5 mans!
- Next up would be the DEHTA quests. Like em or hate em or find them mildly amusing, they count towards an achievement. ;p

Questing in HF is just inherently slower due to the geography of the zone and the fact that a larger percentage of the quests/quest chains required repeated, significant backtracking or long distance travel.

I know at least for my mining toons I will be going out to the Tundra first as that is where I seemed to find more mining nodes just in passing.
I believe I also came upon more herbs out in Howling Fjord however when I was out there.
As far as skinning, they felt about equal but I think I'd lean more toward Borean Tundra in terms of skinning.

And like you Dufe, I plan on doing both starting zones just to maximize Gold gain when I first hit 80.

I'll also try to log into TBC WoW @ work on Thursday and answer any Borean Tundra or Howling Fjord questions. Oh and for the record, I WILL be starting in HF.
