I'll give short-hand version this time:
FULL OF WIN! Most guild apps never sign-up and I personally just want to close their apps b/c I never see them sign-up! Definitely full of win. Also though, type "/join dfrecruit" next time you login. This is the guild LFG channel.
How long do you intend to stay in Downfall?:
Untill i am disrespected or mistreated by a guild rep or officer. Im not a push over.
What things might cause you to leave?:
Mistreatment or misuse of power by a rep or officer. I can tell if im not wanted and i will leave. Other then that i would like to think of Downfall as a perminent guild change.
Full of fail. I'll tell you now your GOING to be mistreated by a guild rep or a guild officer. It happens. Constructive criticism is a part of knowing you position in Downfall. If your told "Your parses were lower than any other dps'er for two nights running. Get on it." Thats them telling you that as a Rogue you should be near the top in dps, hands down. You WON'T be able to tell if your not wanted. I can tell you that right here and now. If you start acting like a whiney little QQ emo loser, you'll be told that you need to clean up, or you will simply be removed from the guild. If you aren't kicked from the guild, guess what? They still like you, so don't QQ about getting griped at. :D
Now, as with my previous guild app posts, the following is needed: I am not a guild officer, guild rep, recruiting officer, or pretty much anyone as far as half the guild is concerned. I'm just a weekend warrior who spends to much time on the forums. But that doesn't mean it's not food-for-thought. :D
Beyond that, here are some random recommendations:
Look me up online. I'm going to be leveling VERY slowly, but I'm Prot and I'm an instance-whore. You need a tank, just lemme know. (Not that I'll be online much before the new year..... Family Raiding)
When mAlt starts back up at the beginning of the year, join up. Aidin always likes taking one or two guild apps, but she'll probably be asking you to bring your resto-druid..... (you are leveling him/her right?) Don't know what mAlt is? Login to IRC. I'll 'splain
What do you think of healing? Its not a requirement, but you will have a raid-position much faster as a healer than any other class (including tanks, thanks to DKs). I know recently we've had LOTS of DPS apply. Would you consider being a Disc/Holy Priest for level 80 raids instead?
Don't be upset/surprised if you don't instantly join the guild even if you've been raiding with us for a few weeks. Garreth and Atar look for SERIOUS committment, and try to make sure people won't burn out.
On the previous note. We have TWO 25man Raids in our guild. One is Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri, the other is Tues/Wed/Thurs. Can you agree to be there every night, every week, every month almost without fail? Garreth (Raid 1) and Atar (Raid 2) are looking for committed raiders who are willing to give full effort all the time.

saintpain — Tue, 12/30/2008 - 00:23Thank you very much for your constructive criticism on my application.haha. sry i could not reply befor christmas to tell you my plans. i log on to read blogs and see gerreths posts every so often but it jus occured to me i can check my own app comments hahah. as far as pumpkin pie..i dont like it. i like whiped cream but pumpkin pie is gross. and yes i did read the whole thing. but it has ben a long time since i applied and im still trien to get in. i havent ben seein alot of dfrecruit chat. but im still guildless and im ganna stay that way till i get into Downfall. =D

Vulk — Mon, 12/01/2008 - 05:53Yet another friend of mine. I've known him for, hmm been a couple years now lol. He was in my old guild that, i have heard, has gone through some serious drama. Enough that the leadership, and many of my old friends, are no longer in that guild or on this server for that matter. I think he would be a god asset to downfall for the 10 mans and heroics when he hits 80.
