Im a mod addict and feel they are absolutely necessary not only for raid encounters, but also effective communication between raid members.

PvE

Raid Experience:

There are so many to name. Prior to this expansion, I have healed and cleared with the assistance of party members many, if not all original World of Warcraft 5 man instances. My favorite 5 man instance would have to be Scarlet Monastery. Racing across Hillsbrad Foothills, encountering and battling horde, running into the wrong entrance, it was great fun. I also feel it is a very carefully designed instance that tests a low level player's knowledge of threat, range, aggro control, etc.I have raided Molten Core, although the experience left much to be desired due to being in a chaotic guild at the time. My favorite overall raid experience would have to be Karazhan... paladins with their aversion to undead can have a lot of fun in Karazhan.

As mentioned I am 35 and from Texas. I dont ride a horse, own a cowboy hat, or own an oil well. When not playing WoW, I love live music, which is good, because Austin has plenty of it.

lets start with the basics

Holy makes you auto loved by Most guild Tanks, Garreth, Aidin, and Vulk
Texan makes you Auto Loved by Carno, Grasen, Aidin, and Pedran. It also tends to make you a possible punchline in all horrible jokes by yours truly.
Paladin in general makes you loved by I think every other paladin in guild

StockUI - Makes Garreth cry at night as he stabs little kittens.

Overall really nice app, and unlike another Texan in guild (coughgrasencoughcough) you speak English as well Texan. :D

I'll post the usual guild-app grille here in a little bit, but busy at work right now.

A few quick things:

When you next login, type "/join dfrecruit". That's so you'll know anytime we're browsing guild-apps to fill heroics/5mans/raids.
Give us a Sandbox (google Warcrafter) link of your current healing-gear, or start logging out in your healing gear.
DF currently has two 25man raids and a number of 10man raids going on a continual each week. The only way your guranteed to eventually get in after you gear up is to start checking the calendar and signing up.
I'd recommend staying ret and running Naxx-10 a couple times for free gear/badges. You'd be surprised how many people want ret pallys because of how easy it is to keep yourself healed with AoW on the Four-Horsemen fight.
STAY ACTIVE ON THE FORUMS. I know you said you're pretty quiet at first, but as a forewarning "quiet" = "not there" for these forums. You see a post you'd like to add to, than reply. Nobody will burn you.
Stay active on this app. If you get questions, answer them, regardless of whom they are from.
