Raid: Fam Aggro
Raid: Fam Aggro is coming. It will be the most casual and laid-back 25man progression Raid of Downfall, but it will be a progression Raid.
We have a great deal of raiders who cannot commit to the same time each week, but can commit to the same time most weeks. Are you one of them?
We will be Raiding Friday's after 8pm server time until whenever, and Sundays from 8am server till 12pm server. We will raid on a semi-monthly basis, to be scheduled roughly a week or two ahead of time each Raid.
You as a player will be held to the Raid, and you will be held to your
Zifter and I will be spearheading the QQ, but we would like to see a couple additional Raid Leaders step forward to assist. There is a reason the Raid is named Fam(ily) Aggro, and it would be best to have at least a couple more Raid Leaders to ensure Raid surviveability and continuity. Please send either zifter or myself a PM in the forums if you wish to be a Raid-Leader.
If you are already part of Salmon/Kitten Brigade and have your Friday's off, you are welcome to signup provided it is with an Alt that you have sufficiently geared. However, raiders will be chosen from those not currently part of Kitten Brigade or Salmon first.
*Update*
As we near D-Day, theres some gaps in our current Raid-Comp. We have no Hunters, no Mages, and no Warlocks. I know they got face-melted, but still. :p
Here's the Raid-Comp as it stands. Not naming names yet b/c we are still yacking about it, but everyone who signed up 'currently' is in. Please bear in mind though we need ranged DPS and right now we have A boomkin.

Please post with your available classes and specs. Currently we are six/eight DPS short and one/three healers short of where we would like to be for Friday. Depending on how everything moves we may give a slight delay for a few of our sign-ups to get geared (three are not 80 yet and this Raid is catered to the casuals).

Olorien — Mon, 01/05/2009 - 09:03Carno is exactly right, the times were chosen based off the fact that we have people who just can't raid weeknights. The goal is to start late enough on Friday to be after kids and early enough Sunday to be able to spend some family time in the afternoon.
That being said I am surprised we aren't hearing from some of the east coasters, where 8am Sunday is actually 11.
Anyway this really just a bump to see if there are any more people interested as we get closer.

I swear, he comes to visit and decides that sleeping is the best way to spend time with family. I mean, I know it's the best way to avoid those akward conversations with your mother like "So when are you going to give me a grandbaby? Your brother is two years younger than you are and he's given me THREE!", but Carno just sleeps it ALL away!!!!!

I would have been online from like 7 till midnight last night but they 'fixed' our water pressure yesterday........
.......... which blew the hot-water shut-off valve in the kitchen, the toilet in the guest bathroom wouldn't stop running water and the shut-off valve was blown, and the bathtub in our bathroom wouldn't stop running water.
I played Plumber Joe for two hours last night!!!!!!! Argh! Pedran has gained a new RL level!!!!!

One friday a month I may have issues becuase I host all the national guard guys that still drill on weekends so they stay the night sometimes on friday. One Sunday a month I am down in vancouver visiting my son. So one friday and one sunday is a no go but all other days are for sures!
I am a feral tank right now but I am starting to put together gear to go resto and if we have steady tanks I have no problem respeccing.
