trainable
moriella — Thu, 12/25/2008 - 02:06Kel has spent his wow life in pvp and has little raid experience. He wants to learn pve content and seems trainable and eager to learn. My concerns : No professions at a level to make income to support changing specs daily for his pvp and pve roles. Reputations at a miserable level Very few quests done solutions : Needs to run heroics over and over again every single day. To get good at pve, probably will have to not pvp in season 5 until his in game finances will allow it, this will only be accomplished by hard core questing and heroics as well as tradeskills. I see Kel as a lvl 80, who is actually a level 70 in many ways, as far as rep goes. Looking at his acheivements, I'm not sure how he got to 80. He's not even done all dungeons or even close. How he got to 80, idk. Some great gear could be had from rep, which would give him a leg up into PvE gear, but the rep isnt there. From talking with him, I think he's trainable and has a sincere desire to learn. Needs to be beat to death healing 5 mans
I'll add that I had no clue he was using a stock UI. Very disappointing. A lot of negatives when I look at his total picture. Positive side is willingness to learn.
I dont think it would hurt to let him help our new 80's in heroics so he can get his feet wet. IF he's ready to face the fact that he wont be able to afford to re spec daily to pvp and will have to dedicate himself 100% to it
Not running native
garreth — Wed, 12/24/2008 - 19:45Not running native resolution? And how do you heal with zero healing mods? If you say "I only need the stock UI" i'm deleting your app.
Not only is he not running
Katibug — Mon, 12/29/2008 - 11:34Not only is he not running native resolution, it's also windowed. Is there a reason for that? If it was me, I couldn't stand seeing my character stretched and fat!
You shouldn't reply with such
Disrupter — Mon, 12/29/2008 - 03:34You shouldn't reply with such a mean reply G! What'd he do to you ;p.
Just throwing my two cents in, but if I was a pvping priest, and didn't really raid... (or hey, a pvp druid that didn't really raid!)... I'd certainly not be using up my screen with things like Grid or stuff along those lines.
Not saying you should Ginvite this guy or anything, just saying for future reference when you run across a pvp healer that wants to try pve... they might not have the mods you consider mandatory or may not even know of them :<.
On the flip side, if they
saedo — Mon, 12/29/2008 - 11:20On the flip side, if they wanna pve they should be doing some research on what they should be doing.
