Just came back from picking up some food, dc'd from server. Tried to log in, says my account's closed. Tried to check the site, came to this:

UPDATE: For those who want to get ahold of me in-game, I'm leveling a Hunter on a trial account named Saintdege. Since it's a trial, you have to add me to your friendslist for me to be able to whisper you back. Can't join guilds either (thanks for trying anyway Shihli) so that's really the only way to contact me in-game.
I'm going to ride it out for about a week or sobefore I decide to upgrade. Knowing Blizzard and their Customer service, my chances of getting my account back are probably pretty slim.

The hacker totally trashed my account though. He disbanded my bank alt guild and deleted my orb of the sindorei, dartol's rod and archmage staff. What a fucking dickhole.

The password got changed under my nose and Blizzard's tarded website left me in the dust with an expired confirmation link. This time I think I actually got hacked, though. I already sent the forms and bullshit to Blizzard to try and get my account back again.
Alternatively, I think they might have banned it for security again. I let a friend of mine use my account to powerlevel his priest on Fartblast, and I completely forgot that they're starting to crack down hardcore on accounts getting signed in from seperate locations.
Regardless, I hope to see you guys in-game again in a week or so... sigh.

Deje — Thu, 03/19/2009 - 08:36Define 'JUST' for me if you can Mori. It's 11:30AM EST here and I haven't been logged on my own account since around 7:30PM EST last night. So if someone was just online with my account, it's a safe bet that I've been hacked.
The only other person with my info is Hesterry, a close (very trustworthy) friend of mine who I know for a fact is not around a computer right now. Even if he were, he always asks my permission before logging into my account.
EDIT: Just checked my Armory and both Deje and Fartblast still have gear in-tact. I'm waiting on a response from Blizz about this. If someone could put up a GM petition, that would be appreciated.

I haven't visited any questionable websites minus the one 2 years ago that got me banned. I'm buying an Authenticator ASAP and cleaning the shit out of my computer over the next week or so. Especially now with Battle.net and WoW accounts linked/merged, I'm not taking any chances.
Again, I'm real sorry that this happened, especially considering I just got my account back when Blizz was afraid it would. When my characters are back in guild, I'll wear an asshat title with pride.

I put the account up for sale on an account selling website almost 2 years ago, and they're just now realizing the danger I was in? Shit, those fuckers had 2 years to hack me between when I took the account back down (fucking chinese farmers and their bullshit offers) and now.

Ardea — Thu, 02/26/2009 - 22:17Bliz actually perma banned my 2nd account because I allowed others to use the account... then I pointed out that it was hacked and I had just got it back when they banned it.... twice.
To my surprise it worked and I got my account back... since I hadn't actually done anything wrong.
I strongly recommend calling The account admins at: 1-800-592-5499. I forgot the exact numbers but first do the Automated then when that starts press 8 which should be "My question is not covered by the Automated system" or something... you will then be placed in a priority queue. It took my 2 mins to reach a live person that way.

I haven't done anything hardcore enough to warrant an instant account closure (and I haven't been suspended recently, to my knowledge). The closest thing to breaking the TOS I can think of that I've done was a post on the forums I made telling a nub troll to make some mustard gas and huff it. If anything I should have gotten forum-banned, but not perma-closed.
Still waiting on a response from Blizz about this. My account was linked to a long-inactive email address, so I haven't gained any clarity on the subject.
Anyway, I'm being recruit-a-friended by Hesterry, and currently struggling to decide on what class to level. I don't have the money to upgrade to TBC /LK right away, so I can't make another shaman (don't really want to, TBH). I'm leaning towards Hunter, to bring back Dege, but I dunno yet.
I'd like to do my best to have this shit appealed and hopefully worked out. I'm so fucking confused.

The email address that I had linked to the account Deje is on was an old @comcast.net email, which has been inactive for almost 2 years now. I tried getting it changed over the phone but gave up after getting sick of listening to the WoW soundtrack on hold for 45 minutes. So I got an email, but I got it on an email address that I can't access.
The "Account error" page I got above let me change my email address online (which was all I asked for in the first damn place ><), and I just received an automated response from Blizzard today:
Hopefully their response won't take too long, as trial accounts are really frustrating to play on and I just want some clarity before I call them, or cave and upgrade a new one.
