He came in last night on his
Prime8 — Thu, 04/09/2009 - 17:06He came in last night on his druid (his main), but he applied on his DK. He and I talked about it, and I think he's wanting to get in on whichever toon we can use, not necessarily just his DK. If you're asking about class balance, he's got a warlock, dps/tank dk, and a resto/boomkin druid. As for whether or not his personality is a fit, I know it is, although my opinion is somewhat biased because I've been raiding with him for so long.

I am on quite a bit and have been working on leveling my Lock (almost 79, should be 80 early next week). I am in the dfrecruit channel on my alts, or you can pst me on these toons for a test drive. Darthon - Druid, Darkthon - DK, Knomar - Lock. Prime and I were taking people through COT to get their mounts so maybe that might be a good opportunity if someone needs one. I regard him highly. He was pretty much my raid leader through all of BC, and he is a very good leader. Thumbs up!

The guild I was in right before apping to downfall, he was the main tank and organized all of our raids. My druid and pally alts are in his druid's guild now, and he comes on time and prepared to every raid we have, and even though his "main spec" is boomkin, he's respeced resto for something like 7 straight weeks because we haven't had enough heals, and hasn't complained once.
He's one of the truly smart players, who can play any role well, and aims for continuous improvement. I asked him to apply with us because Salmon has been short people, and Darth is one of the most reliable people I know, and believe he will definitely be a good fit with us. I also know he's been looking for the opportunity to experience true progression raiding with a real dedicated raiding guild.

Derchlon — Mon, 03/30/2009 - 23:52I'm glad your responding to some of our questions here. You seem like a fairly mature fellow from what you've written, so keep up with this application. Even if we don't need DKs (I'm surprised Garreth even posted in this app), that doesn't mean we don't have a spot for you here in Downfall.
Keeping up with this application almost means using it as a journal. If no one is giving you input or questions, write a note every other day here talking about something Wow related. It keeps you in our recent memory, and shows us you have continued interest in us.

Enixa — Mon, 03/30/2009 - 11:51Couple Questions I'd like to ask and hope for Answers.
1. What type of Rotation are you using while you dps?
2. Looking at your talents, I have 2 Questions. 1st, you grabbed Scourge Strike So I assume that's your main ability. Why did you choose against getting Reaping say vs. Outbreak?
3. It looks almost like a PvP spec from What I see. Desecration has it's uses in PvP very well. However with the Scourge Strike Glyph, there's minimal time you'll need to Plague Strike again, therefore Desecration points can be spent in other key things. Reaping, Wandering Plague is amazing as your gear progresses. (Armory isn't working so I dunno what your rocking)
4. Each Raid is pretty set on DK's. Deadhli and Quisjaa rock out in Kitten Brigade, Xendu and Foreverstar rock Salmon (If i missed anyone in Salmon sry. Those are the only 2 I know) Which would mean raiding anytime soon will prolly be a samller chance than winning the Lottery in California. (Fuck those odds) How do you feel about that?

The rotation I use is - PS - IT - BS - BS - SS - UB - SS - SS - SS - DC
As for armory - I have been toying with DK tanking so I will be spec'd for that, I will respec and equip all my DPS gear if that is needed.
I guess the good thing is that I do not play the California Lottery, although I am guessing the odds are probably the same for the Powerball. I am in no hurry to get a raid spot. I was under the impression that a DK was needed for one of them and thought I would submit my application. So I guess with that said, I feel pretty good.
