A hedgehog?
Boel — Fri, 04/10/2009 - 23:50I think not. They are the enemy within.

They are deceptively cute though.

I'm fond of the 'Dust Bunny'
jaibyrd — Thu, 04/09/2009 - 23:43I'm fond of the 'Dust Bunny' myself. They are always around when you look for them and are fairly self sufficient. They grow at an amazing rate if left alone for any extended period of time.

Roguered — Mon, 04/06/2009 - 18:03Casecold also bitched all the time about it chewing cables and stuff all the time.
Though not cuddly, I personally had a leapord gecko and there are plenty of snakes/repties that can be real cool/easy pets that are even children friendly. My leapord gecko was easy to feed...give it crickets like every/every other week. Clean its cage once a week(also easy) and they will sit in your hands or climb around a little bit. He never bit anyone and would just lay about most the time.
Family pet - just got a male gerbil last week
Kynleigh (not verified) — Mon, 04/06/2009 - 16:03Well, since I am allergic to cats and don't have time for a dog - I got my daughters a gerbil. Here's why:
1) They are pretty friendly (even for small children).
2) You only have to clean their cage once a week.
3) They really don't get to big... and their tail is cute.
I don't know if this help your cuddling problem - but I can say gerbils are not to bad!
Wabbits
Olorien — Mon, 04/06/2009 - 12:53You might think about a rabbit also. Casecold had one, and his girlfriend used to talk about how cuddly it was.
Dwarf Hamsters eat each
Gares of War — Sun, 04/05/2009 - 22:06Dwarf Hamsters eat each other. I had some that killed and ate my favorite among them. Undefeated of the East was defeated.

Shihli — Sun, 04/05/2009 - 22:35I can say I have seen similar things with Dwarf hamsters. My sister had one, it was evil, unlikeable, bit her and anyone else that tried to hold it, etc etc.
A hedgehog isn't a bad idea though.

Kerilyn — Sun, 04/05/2009 - 13:42i need a small warm fuzzy body to cuddle and love. and we live in an apartment that doesnt allow cats or dogs. so i'm looking for something small. as listed above. though ive never had any of these before, so i don't really know any tips on keeping/cleaning/feeding them. i think the closest thing ive had to these was a ferret. so yeah, tips? cuz i cant exactly pick up betta fish and pet them and stuffs.
